I started playing 'Gears' about 3 months ago and i think it is brilliant!
From the moment i first played it, i was hooked, thegraphics are amazing the gameplay is ace and thebest part of all is the online gameplay on Xbox live. The idea of the game is you are an ex-millitary man called Marcus Phoenix andyou have been broken out of prison to help defend humanity from a horde of creatures that had tunneled from the centre of the earth to exterminate the human race. You have to journey into an abandoned mine to plant a device that will wipe out the Locust's underground tunnel network to try and destroy them from the core.
Online gameplay is the best part of the game, playing as part of a four man team battling another four man team to be first to destroy all on the opposite team on a wide variety of maps/levels big or small with a range of powerful weapons.
Exellent game, great quality, highly reccomended and well worth the money!
