...i've had my w460 for 2 years now and am over the moon with it yes they are a bit more to buy than the average machine, but mine came with 10 years parts as well, so if you add that to the average machine with the shop bought warrenty it works out about the same the machine functions well on very little soap powder, i only have to use one washing tablet per load, ( washing powder manufacturers recommend 2-3) so therefore saving straight away!!! it is effient with its water consumption,and electric consumption, it washes hand wash woolens very well, as well as silk it is extremely quiet what i don't like is the old fashioned design... but then you can't have it all one point to note, not written in the handbook, is...if you open up the filter make sure you have a tray underneath that can catch 2-3 pints of water, do not close the trap... ...This review is of the Philips Mistral longlife 2305 witch I believe is the European version witch looks exactly the same. I have had many irons in my life and this is among the worst of them. It took me almost an hour to iron a silk shirt and nylon pants.. Stay away!!! It leaks like crazy and the sprayer is a joke.. I hate it when I have to be someplace soon and my iron leaks water all over my clothing. This iron will just piss you off. I purchased this iron to replace a really old Juia my girlfriend has because it was doing the same crap just to end up with something that was the same. The value for money is not there. i wish Switzerland had some GE irons. I have had a few and was always satisfied.
