My breadmaker is still going strong, and I've recently seen them on offer at £19.99 in the local Safeway. Buy one!
I bought my Hinari HB174 some months ago while it was on Special Offer at Safeway for £29.99. As their specials seem to come around again on a regular basis, don’t despair of being able to buy one at this fantastic price! You can order one at Tesco online for £44.99 if you really must have one, but the question remains - is it the right choice for you?
SHOULD YOU BUY ONE? Having read various opinions on breadmakers here at Ciao, let me say from the outset that the flavour and texture (and shape!) of the bread you will get from this breadmaker is nothing like your average supermarket medium-sliced. ...I have read conflicting reports on breadmakers in all sorts of places.Having decided to take the plunge after pressure from my wife!-I am now a complete convert. Talk about easy- no kneading, standing, mixing or mess. you just dump all the ingredients in (following supplied recipe book)set the timer and thats all there is to it.
What a great smell to greet you on waking in the morning and it tastes wonderful too. The Hinari HB154 was my choice because it was one of the cheaper models and i thought if it turned out to be a waste of money I hadnt been stung to badly. I should have had more faith- its always on in our house and I say that if you are considering buying a breadmaker- dont be put off - just do it- you wont regret it....
