Genius ColorPage Vivid3X EPP

Advantages: Value for money
Disadvantages: Lights up for 5-minutes when PC boots up (like most scanners)

...Had this scanner for a number of years worked without a problem, but suddenly packed up last Thursday. Things go wrong and it's not that they wrong that gets me angry, but when you have to make multiple/repeated/extended efforts to get it sorted. Couldn't find a spares or repair options so called support. Sorted. In less than a week (now Wednesday) I'm scanning. Great! Other point in Genius's favour is that when I upgraded from Win98 to WinXP the Genius new drivers worked no problem. I have another scanner "TRUST 240TH" and I've spent hours trying to get it to work with XP. Unloading reinstalling and rebooting, nightmare. Technical support only by e-mail, never get back to you. Advantages: very fast black printing , cheap
Disadvantages: sometimes it swallows the pages

...the hp 3550 personal printer is an exelent product because : most HP printers are " ink Swallowers " or they use a lot of ink but this model for the black cartage yuo can print in text about 300 pages and in pictures ( whole page ) about 50 in color the page quantities are 5 less respectically. The Hp prints very fast about 12 pages per minute in color and 20 pages per minute in black text but it has a disatvantage that sometimes it sucks in 2 or 3 pages and they get stuck in there but it is a good printer and is quite cheap 50 E you can buy it in various places , the picture quality is good in color and in black is fair for the price....
