I bought this camera from www.cclonline.com for £100 and I think that it is excellent value for money.

Included in the pack was a carry case to keep the camera protected and to carry it around your neck or strapped to your arm etc.

It has an excellent digital zoom which does downgrade the picture quality a bit but not to too much on an extent that the pictures are so poor to make out and also comes with the option to turn this feature off and only use the standard zoom feature.

Going through the menu's you have different options of picture size, quality, flash and picture settings, timer, date and time and a built in option of using the cameras built in memory of 8mb (approx 30 pictures of highest quality) or adding an additional SD memory card which can be bought from as little as £20 from almost any camera retailer.

The camera also has video feature which doesn't record sound which was a bit of a dissapointment but then again i bought it to take pictures and not to record videos.

Another dissapointment was changing the batterys after one to two days of use. The main problem with this is the battery indicator goes to half level and there is no further warning, the camera just shuts down. I would recommend using rechargeable batteries, always keeping one set fully charged. These can be purchased from B&Q for approx £10. The camera takes 2 x AA batteries.

You can get your pictures developed from most photo processing places but only if you have a memory card. Processing costs around £5 for 50 pictures with the added options of choosing which pictures you have developed and also have them edited to your taste e.g zoom, cropping, black and white etc

For those who havn't bought an additional SD card with the camera you get a USB cable which will connect to any computer with an available USB port, also a CD with the relevant drivers and software so you can print your pictures from home.

The website for Genius is www.geniusnet.com.tw
on this website they have options to download drivers in case your CD goes missing and have an E-Mail address for technical support and any suggestions.
