the optowheel looks great on paper, but at least for my experience, the thing doesnt scroll any at all horizontally. not on any browser, or any application. i chucked in the latest driver to no avail. the vertical scrolling is great though, really wish it worked horizontally out of the box.
the turboscrolling function (press and hold middle button, slide downwards quickly) is great and it brings you to the end of a xxx long page document or webpage in a second.
the 1600/800 dpi setting? i dont know if the thing works on which setting since it has no indicator. i just try pressing all 3 keys to "switch" it once in a while, so im guessing half of the time im on the faster setting.
