The concept of the CD is very good. I find there was lots of very good information on the CD. You can brows though many plants/shrubs (around 300 plus) that you can use in your garden.

The main feature is to be able to design your own garden and try different ideas, such as fencing (plus which colour fence) paving, pounds, and where to cut out flowerbeds. Where would it be best to put your garden equipment? And lots more.

You have to click on the icons to put things on your design sheet, which is a flat green grass. You may want to start by clicking on the house icon, in which you can make choices from that icon then it goes on to your design sheet. You may then want to set your fence up so once again you click on the fence icon, which then puts it on your design. You can make many chooses from that too. And that’s the way you carry on until its time to make plants decision and then you need plenty of time as there are so many to pick from and if you know very little about plants, then be prepared to have time to go though the selection.

You can constantly move things around until you have your garden looking exactly as you would want your out-side garden to look. You then replicate the computer 3D design to your garden and start digging!!!!!

Overall the CD is good but I feel the icons could have been BIGGER. You do need to have the time to go though all the options in the design templates.

Mainly do not be up set if your garden does not turn out like your 3D design created on your computer.

Happy Gardening.

Does it have things to help you work out what type of soil you have and what plants would be best?
