Advantages: can make good stuff Disadvantages: Need more magnets
...Geomag is an educational box of magnetic strips that can make quite a few building things.
The difference with this box is it is glow in the dark and it does, you build what you want and lift it to the light and then turn the lights of and you have this fun green construction glowing in your room.
My son asked for Knex for Christmas and we came across this box of Geomag's and thought it was worth a try.
We first seen them in Aldi for £14.99 but we bought them for £9.99 in Toys 'R' Us.
I have to say it was well worth £10 but my son has made the remark a couple of times that there is not enough magnet strips in the box.
Geomag's are thick strips of plastic that can be connected together with small metal ball magnets, my opinion these are not for small children, even though on the box it says suitable for age 3 to age 99. The magnet balls...

Advantages: Really good fun, makes you look like less of a kid whilst playing with it. Disadvantages: Instructions are hard to follow.
...(to work out what colour you're buying check the side of the box, there will be a little pannel saying "colour" and then a bar of the colour you get).

It appears to be quite a chunky little novel - however only the first four pages (or so) turn out to be in English! Reading the instructions it becomes quite clear that to get full enjoyment out of these (or at least, out of the instruction book), a physics...

Advantages: Attractive, sturdier than the Colour option. Disadvantages: You run out of parts pretty quickly
.... I haven't stopped playing with it (except to buy even more)!
With the panels range there is no colour choice, you get silver rods.
The Packaging:
It comes in a cardboard box, and inside that box is a hardened polystyrene case, with the centre missing, that contains all the Geomag pieces, and in the centre there is a plastic pot that contains all the panels. I really like this packaging as the cardboard container may be recycled leaving you with a sturdy polystyrene case/box (with separate compartments for rods and balls) and the plastic tubs that fits nicely into the centre to store your 46 Geomag pieces.

I love The Click Five. I really do. They're terrible. Really terrible. The most cheesy, clichéd , rubbish I have ever listened to.
But that's why I love them. Their songs really make me smile after a hard day, and their uplifting Powerpop beats really more
During the Great War, five children are evacuated from London and sent to stay with their eccentric uncle in the country. Once there they meet a grumpy Psammead or sand fairy who is able to grant them a wish every day. Unfortunately their wishes never... more
