A couple of years later, with the advent of Xbox 360 and Xbox Live Arcade, a new, revamped version came - Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved. It was a hit, and then within another couple of years, it was announced for the DS ... ...over but horrendously addictive.
Geometry Wars: Galaxies takes things to a new level. This time you have a galaxy of stars that you may visit, and each has a set number of planets. Each planet is a grid of a certain shape - and these vary wildly, from simple squares to odd things with spiked edges - and these each spawn enemies of different types and different ways.
