Overall I think George clothes at Asda are great, especially for women and schoolwear; i simply cannot resist taking a look at their clothes every time i go food shopping, regardless of whether or not i actually need anything! I am always on the look out for a bargain and really enjoy strolling through their clothes section.

They are also quite good for their young kids clothes and in particular have some pretty and fashionable clothing for girls. When my daughter was a few years younger i remember buying her alot of clothes from Asda. I have also bought the childrens school uniform clothing from Asda too. Unfortunately my daughter is at Secondary School now (so i have to get her clothes from the exclusive school shop, costing me a fortune!) and my son is in his last year at Primary School. They do a fantastic range of really cheap primary school clothing; from sportwear (PE tops (or polo tops), shorts, jogging bottoms) to jumpers, cardigans, blouses, skirts and trousers.
They have varying colours and styles of the uniform clothing too. I used to always get my sons grey school trousers from there (the last pair i bought being about a month ago) I like the fact that this particular trouser has a waist band that can be altered; this is by it being elasticated, with buttons on the inside; this means if the the trouser waist was either too small or too big you could adjust it accordingly. Their school polo tops are also dirt cheap at only around £3.00 for two.

Asda do have school clothing for older children too, and it may well be the case that some Secondary Schools wil accept certain styles of skirts and trousers, but this does seem to be rare as most Secondary Schools have really strict codes of dress. However, i have frequently bought my daughters school blouses from Asda.

Asda do a wide and varied range of womens clothing and i saw some lovely summer things in there today. I had been to Borehamwood recently and was looking for shorts (due to this hot spell of weather); i went inot a few shops where they had shorts which cost about £20.00 per pair (a price which i refuse to pay just for shorts!). I thought, no im not paying it, i'll go to Asda! As soon as i walked in there today i saw loads of different shorts and the ones i wanted were really cheap in my view at only £6.00 per pair. I got one pair in Black and one in White. Unfortunately they didn't have my size in the yellow! That is one problem that i do have occassionaly where they do run out of some of their sizes. This i find a little frustrating.

Asda also do some super value womens shoes/sandals etc depending on the time of year.

I also bought myself a lovely lemon coloured short cardigan (having previously got one from Asda last year). This was only £9.00. I have seen cardigans very similar to this one for around £15 in other stores. The last peice of clothing i got today in Asda was a simple plain white short sleeved t-shirt. That was only £3.50, available in loads of different colours; cheap and cheerful. When it comes to autum/winter clothing, you can get some great jumpers/thicker cardigans and some really good value jackets and coats. You can still get some lovely thicker cardigans in store now or on line at Asda Direct

One dissapointing aspect about George at Asda is that they do not have much on offer when it comes to womens nightwear and their overall lingerie section is a little limited; but you can still get some great bargains and cheap bras! I must also say that I am not very impressed with the mens clothing in Asda; they are very limited in what they have and i would suggest that it is more suited too older men.

Asda do some lovely clothes for smaller toddlers and children too, at very reasonable prices.

All in all, i must recommend George at Asda clothing, mostly for women and as mentioned for school clothing. If money is a bit tight and your looking for a bargain, you can't go wrong. I am awarding Asda 4 stars; i would have given it 5 but due to a few negative aspects think 4 is the right rating
