I’d heard good things about George Foreman grills and when I moved out into my first home I decided I wanted to get one. I didn’t realise there were so many models on the market and I stumbled on the 10032 Family Grill with Bun Warmer on Amazon, where I paid a reasonable price of £21.49. Having been sceptical of the hype surrounding these machines, I held out until just a month ago to buy one of these grills. And, having got it for just £30, I am more than impressed! Previous to purchasing this, I was tolerating a slow, somewhat unreliable electric oven grill, and had got more than frustrated with the fact I could either grill, or oven cook. By buying this however, it's allowing me to do both at a much cheaper price than buying a double ovened cooker! Firstly, I'm by no means a cook. I can cook a pizza! But it tells you how to on the back of the pack. But really, with this machine, I can cook anything! ***Design/Layout*** The George Foreman has heating slats on both top and bottom! So no need to check if the underside is done, then turn it over, oh no, this thing has all the quirks! The slats are corrigated to allow the fat to drip down into the collecting tray at the bottom. I have had my George Foreman now for just over 2 years it was actually a gift when I moved into my home so didn't actually cost us anything and to be honest it didn't actually ever occur to me to buy one as I just never got the hype, whereas now I couldn't and wouldn't be without it! When I first opened it I expected it to be difficult to use but I was wrong it is literally a case of plug in and off you go! George Foreman's have become so popular that almost everyone has 1 in their household, this is yet another incarnation of the ever popular device, this particular spin-off has a few problems though. Advantages: Like its predecessors and no doubt all the Georges that follow, the grill cooks any number of foodstuffs on both sides simultaneously, additionally it drains the fat down its surface and into a small oval shaped container making whatever food your cooking not only taste great, but be that extra bit healthy too (the amount of fat that comes out of some things scares me!)
