In an attempt to show husband that meat is a healthier alternative and that its fat content can be relatively low, I decided to invest in one of the “Baby George” range of health grills. I bought it at the beginning of the year in Argos whilst it was on special offer and got it for £19.99, ... Read review

Unfortunately my husband and I have very different tastes when it comes to food! He likes a lot of over processed meat – burgers, sausages, pies, etc, whereas if I’m going to eat meat, I prefer it to be a little bit purer than that – i.e. a chicken breast or a nice succulent bit of steak! One of the reasons that Andy doesn’t like meat is because he doesn’t like it when he finds a tiny bit of fat or gristle!
Also, rather unfortunately, but partly ... ...that I have to eat what he wants or cook two separate meals. Over the years, we’ve managed to reach a compromise on some things. For example, I’ve managed to show him that home made burgers are tastier and healthier than the frozen alternatives. Advantages: Easy to clean, halves cooking times, healthy. Disadvantages: Gimmicky, small even for the two it claims.
The George Foreman Junior Health Grill is such a gimmicky piece of kit. George claims, "I'm so proud of it, I put my name on it". Maybe, but considering his degeneration from lean mean, fighting machine to a stereotypical overweight American then it is obvious he does not use it! Despite my annoyance my wife found a used one on ebay for £4 and can never resist a bargain so it was reluctantly purchased.
Nonetheless, despite my pre-amble the Junior ... ...be surprised to learn the George Foreman grill fits very little in the way of food on it. This is not a grill suitable for the family and will not fit more than two burgers, chicken breasts or four sausages comfortably on it. I would say this grill is ideal for the single man or woman or the student as you can do a meal for one on it but that is about all. However, the food that does fit on the grill cooks quickly and it is indeed healthier in both ...

...has never heard of the George Foreman "LEAN MEAN GRILLING MACHINE" or as it is now known "LEAN MEAN FAT REDUCING GRILLING MACHINE". Now honostly I am pretty sure that we most have. This one little househould kitchen appliance has almost revolutionized the way that many of us cook. I know for fact it is permantly a part of my kitchen. Well before I give any history on the George Foreman Lean mean (fat reducing) cooking machine itself, I will give ... ...purchase was a mid size George Foreman. I had heard so much about it and found it on sell so how could I resist. From that day on I realized that the George Foreman was made for me. I soon had to move back on the ship, and since I was on the ship I could not have the George Foreman with me any longer so I gave it to one of my mates who had an apartment out in town. Needless to say I never got it back, but as soon as I got my own apartment a new George ...

...without good reason.
This George Forman grill is, I believe, the cheapest and smallest in his ever growing range of "healthy" grills. What features does it have? It's probably best to say say what it doesn't have. For starters it doesn't have a timer and neither does it have a temperature control. Just an on-off switch.
It is built rather like the clamshell design of a sandwich maker and to operate it all you have to do is open it up reveal the ... ...are bigger grills in the George Foreman range that may be useful here) but if you are a person living on their own, (as I have been all this week), a student (and September isn't that far away!), or if you are just trying to eat heathily (as I am these days) then this may just be the baby you need... ...

Good Grill Review ofGeorge Foreman GR10by

Advantages: Good Grill, Easy to Clean, Healthy Disadvantages: Burgers do not taste quite as nice as when nice and fatty
...oven and more on the George Foreman. If you need this, then I would recommend this. NOTE on this, the George Foreman grill is good therefore as an add on to a Oven Grill for multiple people. I would not want to cook only on this for a lot of people, although for a couple it would probably be ok.
I also think (note think as I am not sure) but I think that it has got to be cheaper to run my George Foreman for when I only want to grill something for ... ...quicker and perfectly in my George Foreman.
I nearly forgot, how does the food cook: Must admit that I have only cooked steaks and burgers in mine, but I found that the food cooks really well. Because you have a cooking plate above and below the food, it cooks both sides at once, which I have found good. I do recommend that you turn the food a little as the grooves (which allow the fat to run off) does cook the food more where it touches it (fairly ...

We have bought a new kitchen appliance recently - it's a George Foreman Grilling Machine (Model 12617) and it is the best thing ever!! We sort of bought it 'by accident'. Mum, dad and me went into town about a week ago. We were looking around some DIY more
I LOVE my George Foreman!
Before I got the Anniversary edition I treated myself to the small version just to see how I got on with it, and to see if I would actually use it.
Within 2 weeks I had invested in this bigger better version!
Ok, it takes more
This was a present from my grandma who thought that I needed something that would allow me to have a nutritous and warm meal that was also healthy. I beleive that she was probably suggested it by some store assistant in Comet as she doesn't watch much... more
