This was unbeleivable...
The Germans were but a shadow of themselves. What has allways characterised their team throughout the various tournaments was their collective effort, their attitude and their winning mentality.
However, the current squad is lazy (or could it be - just too old?), incompetent, talentless, and clearly lacking in spirit. In short, they were an insult to the game of football and every football fan; especially a German football fan. If they do not improve dramatically over the next couple of years, they will remain a third-rate team for years to come.
Pathetic...
