Advantages new coach
Disadvantages not very good team
At first I have to tell you that I am a German. I probably watched the games of our national team for more than ten years and I have been very glad when we won the world cup 1990 and the EURO 1996. But nowadays things have changed. After the leading of Franz Beckenbauer, the best coach of the world, we only had bad coaches in the following time. First Berti Vogts and to make it worst Erich Ribbeck. We saw the result at the EM 2000 in Belgium/Netherlands. But now I hope that things will get better. And I have got some reasons: 1, We have got a new coach who can identify himself with the players. 2, We have got a view new talents and the "old" men like Lothar Matthäus went out of the national team. 3, We are able to win again (against Spain: 4-1). So you can see that there is hope for the German national football team but it will cost a lot of time to repair what Vogts and Ribbeck destroyed.
