As a prospective PGCE student I read this book to give me an idea of what I could expect to be up against as a teacher and how I might be able to handle behaviour issues. The book is easy to read and divided into nice, bite-sized chapters and sections on all aspects of behaviour management from teaching styles and different types of student, right down to the classroom environment. It's not a textbook, so not to be exclusively relied upon for teacher training, but it's an excellent and approachable starting point. I suggest it would also be useful for experienced teachers who just want to freshen up their ideas and go back to basics. I know lots of teachers who have read it and found it really useful, so why not give it a go!
