They come in a neatly presented box, with quite stylish packaging. The box had instructions on how to use and safety advice, which I would recomend reading due to the heat factor.

When I started to run them through my hair, my hair immediatly straightened, with none of the fuss of my previous straighteners, and I didnt need to do each piece of hair more than once.

After having very short and spiky hair for most of my teens and early 20's, I decided earlier this year that I need a change and decided to grow my hair.
When it got to a certain length, I purchased a pair of £20 straighteners from a supermarket. Being the 'typical' man, I decided that straighteners were straighteners, and I was not going to pay over the odds for a product that would no doubt do the job just as well.
After getting sick and tired of waiting about 5 minutes for my straighteners to heat up, and about 45 minutes trying to get my hair straight, I decided on the recomendation of my friend to purchase a pair of the GHD mini thin straighteners.
They come in a neatly presented box, with quite stylish packaging. The box had instructions on how to use and safety advice, which I would recomend reading due to the heat factor.
The straighteners themselves, heat up in probably around 8-10 seconds, and so saved me a lot of time. I was already impressed. They are specifically designed to work at a heat that will only straighten your hair and not burn it, as some straighteners are known to overheat.
When I started to run them through my hair, my hair immediatly straightened, with none of the fuss of my previous straighteners, and I didnt need to do each piece of hair more than once.
They are very easy to use, with a small frame which is easy to grasp in your hand. The thin streamline heaters, are perfect if your hair is shorter, like mine, but also work just as well on long hair. The cord is long enough to stretch a good few feet, so you dont have to hover around the socket (as I did with my last pair). The actual irons are ceramic, which works a lot better than other types. Because of the ceramic irons, there is less chance of your hair being ruined, and they left my hair feeling very soft. For the women, or men who like something a bit different, you can even use these straighteners to curl your hair.
After using this product only once, I could totally understand how different brands can justify charging different prices, some of which seem extortionate. I paid £89.99 for mine, and although I begrudgingly handed the money over to the cashier, it was one of the best purchases I have made. If i straighten my hair in the evening, I still wake up with it nearly perfect, ready for uni the next day. Thats how great they work. They also made a job that took me nearly an hour with my last straighteners, and turned into something that can be done in 5 minutes.
There used to be a lot of stigma surrounding men using hair straighteners, but I would recomend these to anyone, male or female, as they are a brilliant, easy to use product. They work fantastically and I have had absolutely no problems. There is nothing bad to say about them.
Advantages: speed, effectiveness, ease of use Disadvantages: up front cost
I have been using straightners for probably 5 years now. I have never been able to afford GHD's and never thought there was really a big enough difference between a pair you could buy for £25-£30 in any high street retailer and GHD's. Well in February this year my 'non GHD' straightners quite literally fell to pieces - the ceramic plated plates fell off. I decided after much deliberation that i was going to bite the bullit and try the GHD's. My hairdresser ... ...be using them. Well since i am a man with shortish spikey/ruffled looking hair i decided to go for the Mini straighteners as i thought they would be able to get in around my ears better and round the back of my head with the 'tufty' bits!
They cost me £72.99 in May of this year with a heat protecting mat. I search the internet for the best price including Ebay and the like but managed to get them in an online sale at Jason Shankley.co.uk. The arrived ...

Advantages: Heat very quickly Disadvantages: Unable to cope with my thick hair
I bought these recently as I cannot live without my older larger plated GHD's and thought that these would be a handy alternative. They do heat in under 3 seconds and have the same excellent ceramic plates as the larger version, however I found them very time consuming. I have very thick hair about shoulder length and unlike their larger cousins they were unable to straighten as effectively . On saying that they were brilliant on my fringe. I would ...

Advantages: Good to look at, reliable brand, very effective, lightweight Disadvantages: costly.
I recieved these Ghd hair straighteners last year for my birthday from my ex-girlfriend. although i got them as a present i would not have hesitated in purchasing them for myself as i have been thoroughly impressed by them. i had always heard my friends say that there is a big difference in quality between your everyday £30-50 hair straighters and the more expensive Ghd hair straighteners i had never believed this as i thought they would all do a ...

Advantages: Small, Quick, easy to use and look great Disadvantages: It cant be good for my hair loving and using them this much
...reading this your either from GHD or you are looking at purchasing GHD mini straightners for both people i say go for it they are amazing.
i am a man with medium hair like surfer length and i use my ghds and thermal heat spray every morning as part of my ritual of getting ready. they are so good they heat up in under 7 seconds ive had them in freezing temperatures and they still heated up in 10 seconds.
i have let my girlfriend who has the curliest ... ...1 pass 2 passes and it was beautiful and shiny and straigh.
of course being mini straightners the barrel is nice and thin which for me is great as with the larger straightners i could never get the flicks in the back of my hair without burning my neck and now i can.
and also with the thin rounded barrels my girlfriends sister has straight hair and it curled her hair perfectly they work great.
Im so glad i bought these products they have changed ...

...bought it.
I own the GHD IV Styler also. Cost me £100. I actually just bought another IV Styler today due to the first one i had blowing up in my hands.
I actually advise you to buy the Ghd Mini Styler as they are portable, easy use, have a brillaint finishing touch, does what it is meant two and has lasted me over 1 year. I have persuaded my family to buy this product and they are happy with what they got.
This product is well worths its money, ... ...SAFE.
So basically for £15 you get a product which works well, is safe, quite stylish, cheap and portable. My daughter has also taken these in two school to use. Thats how safe it is to use.
I would rate this product 9/10 and advise yourself to grab a pair of these.
Appreciate your comments and thanks for your time ...
