After having already bought a pair of the traditional black medium sized GHDs, and having them brake on me, GHDs must be good!
The straightener is made in a sleek new design which makes it easier for you to create curls and flicks as the barrel is much rounder than previous models. So as well as creating straight hair you can create curls, waves and flicks too. Provided is a CDRom, showing step-by-step videos on how to create the perfect salon look.
They also feature a new 'sleep mode', so they will automatically turn off after 30 minutes; a good way of preventing the house from burning down! Aswell as this they include a shiver function which prevents damage to the irons in the cold winter weather.
The straighteners come in a handy silky wrap which rolls out to produce a heat resistant mat and also looks very nice in comparison to other heat mats.
I paid £135 for them, which is rather a lot for a pair of straighteners but I have to admit you won't get better results from any other straightener. However a £10 donation is given to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, which makes them £125 really.
In my opinion they are an improvement on the last model as they seem to keep my hair straighter for longer and the time it takes me to straighten my hair is much shorter.
I would definitely reccommend these straighteners as you will not find better; they really are worth the price. Without out them I'd be lost!

Advantages: You don't need to re-straighten time after time, can create thing whispy curls very easily. Disadvantages: Damages hair, very expensive, yuo can get better for your money with babyliss.
