I love my straightners. They heat up within seconds and make a "beep" to advise you when they are at the correct temperature. In my opinion they are sleek and stylish and very easy to use. For first time GHD users the only advise I would give it do not hold the straighters in position for too long or it can case 'lines' to be left in the hair. Try and make the straighters glide through the hair. You can also get the straightners in various colours and styles, I own the plain black ones as you do have to pay an additional £20 for the patterned or pink ones. Personally, I don't find the 'styling' products made by GHD much different to high street brands. ...

I started straightening my hair a lot later than the majority of my friends, the real reason being that I have always had very thick, but very fragile and easily broken hair. My mum always told me that straightening my hair would make it fall out. It really got my down in my early teens that a lot of the girls started coming into school with very straight and shiny hair, and not me (straightening started coming back into fashion when I was about 13 or 14). GHD are the best straightners on the market, GHD actually stands for 'Good hair day' which is exactly what they give you.....every time. Near enough every hair salon uses them and they can be bought from most of them and also the GHD website. There are a range of different types of GHD straightners for different styles, both for girls and boys. They Take only a short 20 seconds to heat up to a maximum temperature of 210 degrees, they also have a little red led which lets you know exactly when there done once its stopped flashing.
