I'm currently training to be a hairdresser and Sea spray is something I use quite a lot. I find it good not just of waves but also on curls. I personally have curly hair which has a tendency to go frizzy and I find that when I apply sea spray onto my hair the frizz is pulled down and therefore removed. It is for MATT waves but this doesn't mean your hair is going to lose all shine otherwise it would look pretty filthy and lifeless. You would have to use a hell of a lot to make it look like that anyway. I'd defiantly recommend this product. It's called sea spray because it contains salt from the Dead Sea which is what sticks to your hair to create that matt look. Its good if your going for a surfer style. You can apply to straight hair just to mess it up a bit. Look like you've been on the beach. It just takes that perfect ness away and adds texture. It can wear off; I tend to have to re-spray it on myself when wearing it otherwise my frizz does win the battle, but only about 3 times a day. Not excessive. Its best used on longer hair rather than short as with short your not going to notice much of a difference. You get a lot in a bottle, you wont go through it that fast and prices do vary from salon to salon, so its best to shop around before you buy. You're not going to find it very cheap though because GHD don't sell to retailers for cheap. You can use this product on wet hair but you will probably notice better results when used on dry hair, after styling.
