Now I have quite unruly hair, after it has been washed and conditioned even the toughest of products struggle to make my hair look smooth and shiny. Then I met GHD Shining Serum which promised me it would tame my unruly hair and give me luscious locks.
This shining serum can be bought from the GHD website and through other online websites costing between £9.99 and £17 depending on where you prefer to buy it and the average price that I pay is £12.95 for a 150ml bottle and you can also buy a 50ml bottle too. When buying this bottle it does last me between 4 and 6 months depending on how often I feel the need to use it, but generally it is used at least twice a week when I am going out partying with friends. The bottle itself is brown in colour and upon the bottle is the words GHD and it is a pump action bottle.
I find using this shining serum really easy, you need to make sure you have clean hair and you can either apply it to dried hair or slightly damp hair, if you choose the latter you then once your hair is blow dried you can style as you wish but I prefer to use it on dried hair. So once you have dried hair, then you need to use about a 50p sized blob of the serum, which is a see through colour and to ensure you get maximum coverage through your hair run it between your fingers, a but like washing your hands and then run your hands through your hair to ensure it goes from root to tip. If you decide to use it whilst your hair is slightly damp then you pretty much mimic the actions I have just mentioned and style it from damp and whilst your hair dries the ingredient within the serum react with your hair to leave you with silky smooth locks, once your hair is dried, you shouldn't feel the need to add any further serum to your hair.
I have found that using too much of this product makes your hair look lank and greasy, so whatever you do, do not over use it
Once I have applied the shining serum to my hair I simply style it as I like it to look and the first notable difference is that my unruly hair is now sleek and straight and I don't look like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards. The shining serum helps to seal split ends by smoothing the hair cuticle and enhances the shine which is brought about when you have used a heat substance on your hair such as a hair dryer. Also within this product is UVB protection.
You can use this GHD Shining Serum on all types of hair. The more I have used this product the more easily my hair has become to manage and I am hoping that over time I won't need to keep using this product but in the meantime I will continue to buy it over anything else.
GHD products if you love the hair straightners you will not be dissappointed with the styling products that they have on offer as well. There are not the cheapest hair products but they are not the most expensive either, but in my opinoin they are value for money and worth every penny.
The GHD Shining Serum is for dry frizzy hair and it will help to maintain your dry and frizzy hair in keeping it under control whilst giving you hair a shiny sheen ... ...the other products in the GHD range for ther best results.
This is a great product, but do make sure that you do not apply too much onto your hair as i have blonde layered hair and i once before got carried away and applied too much and it made my hair look greasy and dirty and i ended up having to re-wash it a few hours later.
Over the years i purchased these from GHD, but over the years i have been looking around online and i cannot believe the ...
