I got this product from http://www.jasonshankey.co.uk/ for £14.65 a while back. I have just recently visited the site and noticed the product has been discontinued which explains why my bottle looks slightly different, however, the product description is EXACTLY the same.

This GHD hair styling product created as a thermal protector whilst using straightening irons on hair. I bought this along with my GHD Mk4's wondering how much difference it would make.
I have no doubts that using this is healthy for my hair.
At around £8.45 a bottle, in my opinion it is way over priced. I felt that I was paying for the name 'GHD' rather than a product which would improve the health of my hair after using straighteners everyday.
On comparing this product with similar from Treseme and Lee Stafford, I feel that the GHD thermal protector is not value for money. Lee Stafford's pink range also has a far nicer smell.
I believe GHD to be an extremely good quality product that is long lasting but it is possible to get very similar at a lower price. ...
