Xbox 360

Advantages: Cheaper setup than PS3, better pad, best game selection, xbox live is amazing
Disadvantages: Paying for xbox live (after 3years of live, a PS3 works out cheaper), can be noisey, Wi-Fi is extr

Ok, here's a quick run down of my thoughts on the 360, probably throw in a few comparisons with the PS3, won't bother too much with the Wii since it's not really what I would class as a serious games machine, good fun in short spells or with "non-gamers" but that's about it. Had the 360 for a couple of years now, I was seduced by Halo 3 having been addicted to the first 2 games on the original, I'm a little bit of a FPS nut so I'm well covered with the 360 as that seems to be the systems main genre as it was with the original. It's probably been the most fun system I've owned since the dreamcast (class machine, sorely missed) or the mega drive (Genisis for anyone on the wrong side of the Atlantic). Main reasons for going with the 360? ok, it's initially cheaper to buy in the short term (works out more expensive over time with xbox ...

Review of Microsoft Xbox 360

exillirating Xbox

Advantages: very fun
Disadvantages: addictive

The xbox 360 is a box that will give you fun for hours and hours, with brilliant graphics the xbox 360 has everything that any gamer would dream of having. the xbox 360 is so easy to get started! just put the game in and everything loads straight away, it's fast, very fast. xbox live enhances the xbox gameplay, it makes to games you play extremely fun, you will be playing people from all over the world and seeing how you abilities match up to other peoples. xbox 360 arcade is a very reasonable priced, it has low memory but this has never stoped me from playing xbox live or any game that i wanted to play. it also comes with an arcade game with loads of small but addictive games on there. xbox Elite is the best xbox out there with massive memory and awesome graphics, this xbox is black and looks very stylish. 10/10 ...

Review of Microsoft Xbox 360

Xbox 360

Advantages: Great graphics and Gameplay
Disadvantages: Not as good as a Wii for family play.

Being a playstation boy I've never bothered with the Xbox, however through boredom and impulse I found myself buying an Xbox 360 one day. To coin a Carlsberg phrase, the 360 is probably the best console around. The graphics are second to none and until sony can get to grip with what they really want out of the PS3 the 360 will remain streets ahead. It is available from around £180 upwards depending on system and game bundles you purchase with it with again leaves it extremely better priced than the PS3. The controller whilst more bulky than sony controllers fits nicely in the hand and the rechargeable battery pack is a must get addition. I would say however that although there is a great variety of games available for the Xbox 360 it is undoubtedly at its greatest when playing shoot 'em up's, games such as Halo 3 and Gears ...
