Gibson have really pulled this one off, the tone you can get is great for that 80s rock/metal sound. The action is fast - again great for that 80s style of playing and mental high solos!
It feels beautifully crafted, and looks the part on stage. Its definately a great guitar to have for metal fans especially as it is made by gibson - not associated with this style of playing.
You've got the tone of a gibson and the playability of a high end ibanez, there is however one problem.
This model was discontinued around 2002 so unless your local music shop still has one it could be hard to find one. However it is well worth looking out for one second had as not only do they play well but think of the investment potential!
A limited edition Gibson for sale in 30 years time? You could make yourself a nice profit if you keep good care of it.
Buy it if you want a fast metal, rock guitar but if you are looking for cleaner tones have a look at the more versatile standard sg.
