I ve had mine for 10 months now and I love it to death. The 60's style fit my hand beautifully and the weight is well balanced and not too heavy. Sounds. I gigg mine weekly and it produces a deep rich clean sound for thoes mellow tunes, a Peter Green type overdrive for blues right through to hi gain distortion and all done with a superior quality of tone.
Build Quality..... C'mon Gibson sort it out!!!!. Mine has steps in the binding and the odd laquer blemish, and the bridge post are very spindley. So Why did I buy It?... I tryed many in shops before i chose this one and i found them all to be different in feel and tone. As a giging guitarist I chose this one because of its feel and tone.
A sturdy guitar that will last many years and give you much pleasure. Shop around for one, play many, they are all different, and if you want a top quality well built instrument try looking to the USA as rumor has it that we get the B stock here in Europe
This is a white 10oz. ceramic mug decorated with a highly detailed hand drawn illustration ... more
of Peter Green's 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, complete with scratches, worn finish and mis-matched control knobs. The illustration of this famous guitar is original and has been produced by George Morgan following extensive research. This is not a photograph. The guitar has been dye sublimated onto the mug. This means the image is under the ceramic glaze and is dishwasher, microwave and UV-proof and with normal domestic use will not scratch, crack, fade or peel. The durable nature of this printing process makes this mug ideal for use in the house or studio.
