The nightwalker books are written in such great depth that one often gets lost in all the information that's supplied rather than delving into the characters or plot. This book is the second in the trilogy but it amply provides the information from the first book so you could read this without touching the other. The plot is raunchy and sweaty but lacks the pschological depth between the two main characters - Gideon (an ancient healer demon)and Magdelegna (the little sister of the all important demon king). Without going into depth too much it's basically a forbidden love story based in a fantasy world whereby the emotionally defunct kin of Magdelgna forbid the relationship. It's so full of information that one gets bogged down in it though I did enjoy the raunchy sex! Well, who wouldn't?
