I have now owned the bike since March 2001. I guess I am what you could call an occassional bike rider - I try to do my bit for the environment (and the overcrowding in the office car-park!) and cycle or use the Gilera Runner when the weather is OK.

My better half also uses the Runner for commuting to the city. We're both very impressed still! It has an excellent pick up on speed and can keep up with many other bigger bikes. It's great around town, very mobile and versatile.

I've also been riding the Runner for short motorway stretches. This has gone OK so far but is a bit worrying because of the wind - I tend to get a bit battered about and the bike feels less stable. So my preference would be to stick to A roads, I guess. In my opinion, the bike is definitely not suitable for extended motorway driving. Perhaps I am too light and that's the reason I wobble so much?! (:-))

The petrol tank is far bigger than either of the other two "bikes" I have owned (Vespa 125ET and Honday PX50!) which is a bonus - I think it holds nearly 9litres.

The only other comment I would like to make is that I am paranoid about the bike being stolen; inspite of the fitted immobilser, I have an expensive always try and lock it to something. But so far so good.

Much more information is needed for this to get into the very helpful grading bracket. I do not appreciate ninety word wonderers, this is a good opinion but needs a lot more work on it to make it much more read worthy. Please make it much more detailed and give the bike the thorough review that it deserves, your work will pay off in the long run as this way you will generate more reads. See my opinion on Ciao.com for how to write better opinions. Keep trying though, you have the bare bones of an opinion here. E-mail me from my profile page if you decide to re-write this opinion. I will only be too glad to re-rate it, thanks.
