Good As A Stop Gap Review ofGillette Blue II Plus Razorsby

Advantages: Not too bad a shave. Cheap. Lubrastrip prevents too many nicks and cuts. Disadvantages: Not as good a shave as with a "swivel-head" razor.
...I’ve been happily using a Gillette Mach 3 Razor for the past couple of years now, since I finally succumbed to the seductive and persuasive TV advertising, which promises you the closest and smoothest shave of your life.
My old Gillette Contour Plus (twin bladed) razor was relegated to the darkest reaches of the bathroom cabinet, as I discovered the unbridled joy of cutting away my facial bristles with three blades.
~ ~ OK. Maybe I’m being a tad ... ...razors at only €2.52; the Gillette Blue II Plus Razor. (With lubrastrip)
~ ~ I’d had a bad experience some time back, when my wee lass had returned from a trip to the supermarket with a pack of these bloody (quite literally) orange Bic disposables when she couldn’t get any refills for my Mach 3. My face had been torn asunder, and I looked like I’d been partaking in a knife fight (on the losing end) for about a week until the scars eventually healed. ...

Advantages: Very clean shave, Lubrastrip on each blade so less likely to get cut Disadvantages: As with all blades with fixed heads there is a likelyhood to get small cuts
...been a avid user of Gillette Shaving products throughout the years starting with the Contour and currently using the Sensor.
My first experience with the Blue II Plus was just a month ago when I made a one week trip to Ghana.
Unfortunately or should I say fortunately I left my Sensor razor and foam at home and I had to purchase these whilst in Ghana. Naturally it was of no use to spend a fortune on purchasing a brand new Sensor so I went for the ... ...razor.
I give the Gillette Blue II full marks and would certainly rate them as the best disposable blades around. I make this statement despite not having tried any other brands because you certainly cannot get better than this.
I’m not sure of the price here because I have not yet purchased it locally but it definitely would be priced very affordably.
Finally I have noticed that there were a couple of ops on this product by females. This ...

Advantages: good clean cut Disadvantages: disposable
Could quite possibly be the best that you can get. They do do the job and are not pricey. Loathe as I am to buy disposables (so as not to offend our planet) I do give in and buy a packet of these from time to time.
Having compared them with quite a few other brands and their individual razors I would recommed these. The blades are sharp but will not cut you to ribbons (unlike our friend the Lynx). In a pinch I have even used these dry (not recommended) ...

Advantages: Great clean shave Disadvantages: Price for some people
When it comes to disposable blades and deciding what blade to use which comes at a good price and a great clean shave theres no doubt Gillete is the one.
A long time ago a year back i didnt use Gillete blades i used another companies i didnt really care what shaving blades i used as long as it got done.Having used other shaving blades i often some times got cuts which would stay on for a week or so it wasnt pleasant to say the least,at one point ... ...Gillete.
The first i tried it i didnt use it with the Gillete Foam i prefer moisturing skin then shaving personally. When i used the Gillete shaving blades i noticed that the shaving was really smooth much more easier than any other shaving blade i had ever used my whole life.Ever since i have been using these blades never tried the ones which are meant to be better than this Mach 3 or so but this one is the one for me.A clean shave skin feeling ...
