I myself am not too fussy on any strong smelling deodorants; I’d much prefer the milder smelling ones like “Addictions”, etc, and I just can’t stand deodorants that over-power you or make you smell as if you have fell into a vat in a soap factory, well that’s ... Read review
Advantages: Err, NONE Disadvantages: Too strong and stings the hell out of you when sprayed on.
...stuff, as I visited the Gillette web page and there was no mention of the stuff (They’ve probably sold all the stock to Bin Laden and his crew, to use as a chemical weapon against the USA), or they’ve probably stopped making it because of complaints or something, but I should imagine it would cost around £2.00 to £2.50 a bottle, should it still be available.
There is no mention on the bottle about the stuff being “Ozone-friendly”, ... ...the population used this stuff, there would be no ozone left around the Earth and come to think of it, no bloody oxygen.
Ingredients: Isobutane, Alcohol Denat, Propane, Triethyl Cirate, Parfum and Aqua.
Nothing unusual in the ingredients then, just the normal concoction of highly inflammable gases and a bit of perfume added.

Yes that’s right, should you attempt to use this deodorant, you’ll require a gas mask!
I never actually bought this deodorant; it was actually out of one of the hundreds of thousands of deodorant/shower gel or deodorant/after-shave sets that I and everybody else seem to get during the Christmas period and had been lying in my cupboard for around 8 months or so, so I decided to give it a try and see what it’s quality was like.
I myself am not too fussy on any strong smelling deodorants; I’d much prefer the milder smelling ones like “Addictions”, etc, and I just can’t stand deodorants that over-power you or make you smell as if you have fell into a vat in a soap factory, well that’s where Gillette’s Cool Wave Deodorant comes in, to say this stuff is strong is an understatement, it absolutely reeks.
Upon reading the writing on the aerosol, I noticed the wordings of “A distinctive body spray for men with a cool, crisp scent that keeps you feeling fresh and confident with it’s long-lasting deodorant protection”, I would like to change that wording to my own description of the deodorant, so here goes, “A very distinctive stench for men that don’t like company (as no-one will stand within ten miles of you) with a cool, sharp as a razor sting when spraying on your body and leaves a cloud of chemicals circling you all day”.
One thing that I must admit about this deodorant is, it surely gets rid of any BO (Body Odour) you might have, I mean come on, you could not bath for a year and spray this stuff on you and no-one would be none the wiser, it really is that strong.
The first thing I noticed about “Cool Wave” upon using it was, the extremity of the smell, just one tiny spray under my arms, and immediately my bedroom was engulfed in the stench, it actually takes your breath away and has you gasping for fresh air. Another thing I noticed, was the over-cold feeling and the stinging of the skin, once the deodorant touches it, it was like spraying liquid oxygen under my arm-pit, Ok, I know, I’m exaggerating there and no I have never tried spraying liquid oxygen under my arm-pits, but I think you get my drift.
I’m not actually too sure how much this stuff costs for a bottle, actually, I’m not too sure if they actually still sell or make the stuff, as I visited the Gillette web page and there was no mention of the stuff (They’ve probably sold all the stock to Bin Laden and his crew, to use as a chemical weapon against the USA), or they’ve probably stopped making it because of complaints or something, but I should imagine it would cost around £2.00 to £2.50 a bottle, should it still be available.
There is no mention on the bottle about the stuff being “Ozone-friendly”, not that that doesn’t surprise me, I mean if half the population used this stuff, there would be no ozone left around the Earth and come to think of it, no bloody oxygen.

Nothing unusual in the ingredients then, just the normal concoction of highly inflammable gases and a bit of perfume added.
Oh well, as you can now guess, I’m not recommending this product, unless you want to buy it for someone you can’t stand and make sure you don’t live in the same house as the recipient, Hmm, that’s got me thinking, who actually bought me this now?
Advantages: Quick drying, smell is quite nice Disadvantages: Weak anti-perspirant effect, not very long lasting
I decided to try Gillette deodorant as I used their Mach 3 razor and their shaving foam. When I tried the product out I was quite impressed - it goes on wet but dries quite quickly, and has a good deodorising effect. Unfortunately the anti perspirant effect is not particularly impressive and I found that after a few hours I was quite sticky under my arms.
It's a shame that the anti perspirant effect isn't better, and longer lasting, otherwise this ...

Advantages: Lasts long, variety of different smells Disadvantages: none
For years, she went on and on about my choice of deoderant. "It smells bad, it's expensive, it doesn't last long" on and on it went. Until I tried Gilette Series. She likes all of the different flavours (I do too, but that doesn't seem to matter!) and it's really reasonably priced! I'm very happy with the fact that it lasts so long, no matter how active I am, but I'm even more pleased that I don't get earache any more! There's a good variety of different ...

Good quality product made by a name you can trust but they make better razors though
has its advantages and its disadvantages. Worth a try - there pacific light one is good value although it did smell a little of curry when I first got it.
Better than some of the dodgy ones that always pop up now and then. One of the better ones I have seen. Worth a try as I said before.
There are many in the range and that is also a good point. Good deodorant ...

Review of Gillette Deodorant Spray
Advantages: packaging nice Disadvantages: little else
If you believe all the advertising hype you would believe that the gillete product series was really the best a man can get but unfortunately no it isn't. These deoderants, me thinks, come in two different 'smells' and both of them suck big time. They are not nice to smell, but given its staying power this doesn't really matter. Also, this product is one of the very few deoderants that has given me a rash, must be something in it. However, the only ...

Advantages: Stops you smelling, cheap for what you get Disadvantages: Too strong for children
What's the difference between a deodorant and a body spray? Yes, a question many philosophers have asked down the centuries.
The answer is that a body spray makes you smell nice, and a deodorant stops you from smelling of your own sweat. So what on earth is a deodorant body spray? Surely not some mucky hybrid of these two popular products, mixed together in a bizzare genetic experiment?!
Well actually they are. Except without the genetic experiment bizzarity. This Gillette Arctic Ice Body Spray is one such hybrid. Combining both deodorant and body spray, it is designed to both protect and refresh.
But what is so special about it? Well, it seems to work better than most other similar products. Right Guard deodorants for example are really dry, and seem to just block up your pores. This Gillettespray not only stops you from ...
Advantages: Excellant value, good deodorising effect, nice fragrances, and everything else that comes with a brillient product. Disadvantages: None
Gillette for a good few years to know that you cannot buy better on the market than this product. As I think you would think the same as me is that I personnally cannot stand the smell of sweat from anyone as it is enough to make anyone feel ill, so I like to smell, feel good as well as knowing that I am using a brand that is highly reguarded in the industry.
Another product that Gillette has which is good is the spray on deodorant, but the main problem with that is that you can easily put on too much which results in washing for 5 mins to try and get the deodorant off (ok it may be a slight exagaration but it depends on how much you put on).
For the quality of the product, it is quite cheap and it also lasts a bit longer than the normal roll-ons. I often shop at Asda for the product, or if I am in france I somethimes bring some back, but ...
Advantages: smells nice Disadvantages: takes ages to dry, stains clothes
Right, that’s it! I have quite enough from this troublesome deodorant – I think it’s about time I wrote an opinion prevented others from throwing their money away on it…
Manufactured by Gillette, the ‘Natrel Plus’ anti-perspirant deodorant has solid stick form (as an alternative to the spray) which claims to contain ‘natural silk’ for that ‘extra smooth glide’. OK, so I don’t have any complaints there; it’s definitely smooth in consistency and does indeed slide on neatly into place when I apply it in the morning. However, this is also the time from where my troubles begin. This stick is an utter nightmare.
Unlike some hassle-free deodorants, this substance refuses to dry and instead, for at least half an hour, remains sticky and wet. Aggravated at this stage, I ...
