being a women i want a blade that shaves my legs close and i find alot of womens blades are not that good. tried the gillette fusion well at first when you put a new blade in shaves really close and your legs feel nice and smooth. there is a colour strip which when it comes off you know the blade it blunt. well after a few times the blade starts to wear out very quickly i would have thought since it has 5 closely spaced blades that it would not only shave closely all the time the blade would last a quite along time. being the price it is for four blades i find the cost way overpriced and the blades not of a quality which you would expect from gillette. i have tried other gillette razors and find the old reliable razors and blades much better and last longer than the gillette fusion. overall overpriced and blades not that good.

The GilletteFusion sells in the shops for £7.49 for the manual, and £9.99 for the Power. It is the manual razor being reviewed here. The blurb says the GilletteFusion razor is the latest in the Gillette range - part of a new 3 part shaving 'system' including a shaving gel and aftershave balm (reviewed separately). The blade head itself has 5 blades, a lubricator strip and a shaving guard at the base.
The razor is nice and lightweight (a change from the usual old heavy one that's for sure!), and does glide very smoothly indeed. Hubby tried it out first and was very impressed - his face really was very smooth, and I certainly didn't feel any stubble on him for quite a while afterwards. No rash, and a good clean shave.
