Now for my opinion. The trimmer on the back is nothing special. The ability of the vibration does not really do a lot if anything and it's also hard to tell if the Lubrastrip does anything. Although I do not get a rash from these razor heads so it may be doing something I used to use an electric shaver before which was not as comfortable as this and also used to give me a slight rash (redening really). I'm also quite doubtful that the 5 blades are extremely necessary for producing a much better shave. However the reason I like the fusion power heads is because I do not get any rash and the shave is alot more comfortable- it cannot be faulted for that.
Hairs can sometimes become clogged up in the blades and therefore you may have to go over the same area twice as I often do.
The price of these blades are very expensive: Boots and Amazon - 8pack - £18.99 Amazon - 4 pack - £9.80
However I purchased mine from eBay where I got them much cheaper and some great bargains can be found-it just takes a little time.
The blades do last for quite a long time depending on how often they are used e.g. daily and how extensive the growth is.
As the shaver was a gift and I purchased extra blades cheaply I continue to use it as the shave is more comfortable and close. However I probably would not have bought it myself due to the price of the blades in shops.

Been shaving for over 25 years and have tried most of the razor blades on the market, from the disposable, heads with 1, 2, 3, and 4 blades, have even dabbled a little with an electric shaver without success.
It's not that I'm not happy with the razors I use more that I hate shaving and when the next product comes along you have to have it just to see if shaving becomes a more pleasurable experience.

The GilletteFusion sells in the shops for £7.49 for the manual, and £9.99 for the Power. It is the manual razor being reviewed here. The blurb says the GilletteFusion razor is the latest in the Gillette range - part of a new 3 part shaving 'system' including a shaving gel and aftershave balm (reviewed separately). The blade head itself has 5 blades, a lubricator strip and a shaving guard at the base.
The razor is nice and lightweight (a change from the usual old heavy one that's for sure!), and does glide very smoothly indeed. Hubby tried it out first and was very impressed - his face really was very smooth, and I certainly didn't feel any stubble on him for quite a while afterwards. No rash, and a good clean shave.
