Advantages: Good, clean and smooth shave. Disadvantages: Expensive razor and blades.
...to achieve.
Enter the Gillette Mach 3. This was the first proper razor I got. Before this I used my fathers then a mixture of rubbish xmas presents - remember you didn't shave half as much in them days.
First off this razor is stylish, well, as stylish as a razor can be. The packaging is excellent and is an extension of the established and trusted Gillette brand. The razor itself is even more classy. It's designed to be ergonomically sound and ... ...the shave.
The Mach 3 is renowned for it's triple blade and definitely gives a closer shave. The lubricating strip works and the end result is a smooth, clean look with no skin irritation at all.
The one negative factor is the cost. The razor comes with two blades and is often on special offers for around £5, about the same amount as you'll have to stump out for your next box of four blades.
The crazy thing is that I didn't realise how good it ...

Advantages: A well built robust Razor, very safe. Disadvantages: The cost of blades is not cheap.
...better oh yes!
The Gillette Mach3 Razor was introduced in 1998 and is currently the most popular razor on the market today. It is fashioned with a moulded rubber grip handle, especially needed when your hands get a little soapy and wet and a quick hand change is required. Yes shaving your face with one hand is the norm, but the head needs two hands and two mirrors. The blade is made up of 3 stainless steel blades. Very sharp blades, however please ... ...into the stubble, I use Gillette Series Sensitive Shave Gel. Making sure that you use hot water to rinse the blade, start from the crown and work your way forward, not too fast with long flowing strokes, Continue this process until you have shaved the top and sides of your head, back to front is the name of this game here.
Secondly using a hand held mirror so that you can see the back of your head in a wall mounted mirror work your way down from ...

Advantages: cheaper than women's razors, close shave Disadvantages: not as pretty as women's razors
...early '90s..) I used the Gillette Sensor for Women because it was pretty and was 'for women.' All my friends used them, too. But all that changed a couple of years ago thanks to the radical discovery of my friend Marisa.
When Marisa's friend Dave turned 18, he got a letter in the mail from Gillette with a voucher for a free Mach 3, Gillette's brand new (at the time) razor. Under the impression that ALL blokes got free razors and girls got nothing, ... ...like it could be ANY Gillette razor, and went home the proud owner of a shiny, new Mach 3. We still don't know why Dave got a free razor in the first place..
Based on Marisa's rave review, I decided to acquire my own free Mach 3. My mum has a friend who works for Gillette, so I asked him to get one for me. Hurrah for being devious and miserly!
When it first appeared on the scene, the Mach 3 was innovative because it has three blades as opposed ...

Advantages: Its an incredibly good shave Disadvantages: The razors cost a fortune
...perfect item for me. The Gillette Mach 3 razor (as if you had not already guessed)! At the reasonable price of £3.99 with two spare blades it sounded like a good deal. But the real test, of course, would come in the bathroom.
Finally at home I actually had a look at my latest grooming product and I have to say it looks pretty swanky. With its steel core and styled rubber wrap you do get an incredibly good grip with enough weight in it so you know ... ...The actual blade itself is quite a change itself. First of all it has three blades placed in-between the now typical lubastrip at the top (is that right?) and weird rubber bit with 5 ridges at the bottom. Hmmm… (what’s that there for?) the blade also has the spring mechanism built in. Which is as far as I know a major change and has about flexibility through about 70 degrees, which is great for men with distinguished features. Attaching the blade ...

I first bought this razor several years ago when i was still pretending to shave, as you do. I only bought it because of my mates and the adverts, when you're a fifteen year old guy you don't tend to know much about anything let alone what the best razor more

I’ll admit it I am a freak. Ask any of my friends and they will tell you it’s true, there are many reasons. One of my freakiest downfalls is that I am a sucker for anything new or gadget-like! Every time I go into a shop I have one eye on what I went... more
