Mathew Arnold , the critic
Review of Thyrsis - Matthew Arnold by
jewellowatch
Advantages: a perfect piece of literature, a wonderful wrting, highly poetic
Disadvantages: not known
...Mathew Arnold is an important name in the history of english literature in general and in poetry and criticism in particular. Mathew Arnold has many admirers who like his poetry both in content and style. His is a matter inspired by the classic and his is the manner fueld by the romantic. I personally admire Arnold as a critic rather than a poet. His critcism first and second series are real and great landmarks in the history of english literary criticism. Infact it is perfectly ture when someone said that when any reads Mathews criticism, he becomes a critic himself at the end. Although some may disagree for his criticism of the 18th century and the earlier 19th century poets, his touch stone method has been widely appreciated....

Chappers
Advantages: Sleep and a happy baby and partner
Disadvantages: Some people may find it restricting
...When my baby was 10 weeks old I was a desperate mother. I was breastfeeding on demand and my baby never slept for longer than 3 hours in the night. I was reccomended The Contented Little Baby Book and have never looked back since.
Gina Ford gives practcal advice and hope to many first time mothers. She tells you when to wake, feed, change, bath and massage the baby. She tells you how to look after yourself and gives many clever tips on making motherhood an enjoyable time. She gives you routines to follow for the first year, explains how to increase your milk supply if you are breastfeeding and also how to wean your baby. The most important part of the book is that she teaches you how to have a baby that sleeps for 12 hours every night. I have and I thank Gina Ford for it....

Funny, feel good book
Review of Kiss - Jill Mansell by
Sam-Hay
Advantages: Easy to read
Disadvantages: None

The heroine, Izzy Van Asch, is a club singer, struggling to make ends meet for her and her teenage daughter, Katerina, who's revising for her A Levels. When Izzy gets knocked off her bike and ends up in hospital, just as they're about to be ousted from their rented flat, they don't know what's going to happen.
A guardian angel appears in the form of Gina... who happened to be the person that knocked Izzy off her bike! Gina's going through turmoil at the moment herself, as her husband has left her for someone else. And so forms an unlikely...
