creamy coloured card box which is wrapped in your usual clear film. The box for the 50ml bottle is approximately (H)105mm x (W) 60mm x (D) 30mm. On the front of the box, it says 'ACQUA DI GIO' with 'GIO' in a bigger font like on the bottle shown above. Under the name of the fragrance, it then says 'GIORGIO ARMANI'. The bottle itself is made of translucent, colourless frosted glass with a silver lid and has 'ACQUA DI GIO' and 'GIORGIO ARMANI' printed on. The shape of the bottle is very similar to a bar of soap stood up vertically. The lid is like your orthodox lid a nozzle protected from spraying the bottle's contents by accident by a lid rather than an ON-OFF mechanism like Bvlgari Black or LYNX cans. BADGER MEETS MR ARMANI

Advantages: Smells gorgeous, will get you noticed (for good reasons), long lasting
Disadvantages: Is expensive

Yes that's right, the Badger is going to give his opinion on another aftershave and today it's going to be one of my all time favourites, Acqua De Gio by Giorgio Armani. Up until last year I had never smelt or seen this in the shops. That was the case until one night I agreed to look after my sister. My dad wandered into the room and the beautiful fragrance that is Acqua De Gio followed him. I was instantly hooked. Acqua de Gio is a fairly new fragrance for men. I bought my bottle from the Armani shop in Manchester for £32.00 for a 50ml bottle. The actual bottle is very basic, with a rounded feel and frosted glass. The actual colour of the aftershave is a very pale green making it look extremely refreshing and modern. This being the 50ml bottle, it isn't huge in size but it is easily identifiable by the ACQUA DE GIO and GIORGIO ...

You're in the ARMANI now

Advantages: Long-lasting fragrance

a heavily cluttered shelf creaking and groaning under the combined weight of past Christmas presents. One of the offenders is a small bottle of ACQUA DI GIO by ARMANI, nothing if not pretentious. The bottle is pretty ordinary and basic, with rounded edges and frosted glass and ACQUA DE GIO and GIORGIO ARMANI flashed across front and back. Actually, I quite like the design of the bottle - it's quite minimalist and not over-elaborate as some similar products can be. THEY SAY: "Born from the sea, the sun and the earth, and created by a man who embraces nature's contrasts as he finds harmony in them. Inspired by the Mediterranean island haven, Pantelleria, the scent is decidedly masculine and modern with a transparent, aromatic, woody scent." Aye, right!
