Giovanni Smooth as Silk Conditioner

I stumbled by these products when I was ordering some herbs from mountainroseherbs.com and the price stunned me. It was only about $8, which is about £4 in UK currency and I was just so pleased with myself because it is 100% organic and so cheap. Whereas I could splash out on £10 on a bottle of conditioner ...
...it's great but like I said it's hard buy online from UK website. I have also found some international Ebay sellers from USA who stock Giovanni products in their Ebay store.

It was only about $8, which is about £4 in UK currency and I was just so pleased with myself because it is 100% organic and so cheap. Whereas I could splash out on £10 on a bottle of conditioner and there's a whole list of perservatives, chemicals which will eventually damage my hair.

The pakaging is very nice. In a clear plastic bottle (which is biodegradeable i.e you just leave it and eventually it will decomposed naturally). Not a lot of pictures just their company logo and simple writing. Very sophiscated. Comes in a 250ml bottle, that's 8.5fl.oz.

As it's 100% organic I will just list some of the ingredients put on their list:
Lavender,grapefruit seed,chamomile,nettle,thyme,mallow,yarrow,vitamin E, rosemary etc.

The conditioner is very light not heavy and on the back of the bottle there is a scale which shows you how conditioning it is. It is a medium conditioner but I feel when I use it, my hair is deeply nourished. Smells very nice and refreshing.

After my hair has been shampooed, I put a small blob (maybe just a bit smaller than a 10p sized coin - really it depends on hair length) and jut massage it slowly into my hair. After I have left it on for about 2 mins, I then rinse it off. A little does a long way and the bottle lasts forever. For me about 2 -2 1/2 months.

It's not very foaming but my hair is so soft, smooth and shiny even thought I still straighten my hair everyday single day.
Also, my hair is easier to brush when it is in the wet state.

I have to say that without the shampoo I'm fine but I must use this conditioner no matter what. My is normal type but can get a bit oily sometimes and the pakaging doesn't tell me what hair type it should be used on but it works great for me.

The only problem is that it's hard to find where to buy. Yes I bought it from mountainroseherbs, but that if I just bought hair shampoo and conditioner then it wouldn't be worth it because of the expensive postal charges. I haven't even found any UK websites that actually sell this product so I have resorted to buying it from mothernature.com where there postage prices aren't okay and I bulk buy this conditioner like mad.

I would definately recommend to anyone. I have given it to my friends to try and they said it's great but like I said it's hard buy online from UK website. I have also found some international Ebay sellers from USA who stock Giovanni products in their Ebay store.
