audio book.Girls in Loveis the first title (followed byGirls Under Pressure) in a trilogy for older readers by the award-winning Wilson. Already an immensely popular author of books for younger readers (such asBad Girls,The Suitcase KidandDouble Act) she is likely, withGirls in Love, to prove equally popular with girls in their early teens. As well as dealing with typical boyfriend problems, this hilariously entertaining novel touches on the deeper pains associated with the loss of a parent and coming to terms with a new step-parent. Ellie, Magda and Nadine are determined to explore the as yet uncharted territory of the boyfriend. When best friend Nadine gets a boyfriend, Ellie finds herself saying that she's got one too. The trouble is, he's the too young, too nerdy and too ugly boy who fell in love with her during her boring holiday in Wales. But when Nadine's dishy boyfriend starts causing trouble we see just how important girlfriends are and just how lucky Ellie is to have found a boy who is really her friend. This is an amusing and delightful book by someone who clearly knows what she's writing about. --Tamsin Palmer

I recomend these books to anyone who likes a good read but it's better to read them in Jaqueline's order then to make up your own and not to read the end pages untill you get there otherwise like with any book you shouldn't spoil the fun!

Jaqueline Wilson had been one of my favourite authers when I was between eight and eleven years old so I was delighted when I noticed this new cool book for teens! I found that once I picked it up for the first time I couldn't put it down because I always wanted to find out what the three best friends from year nine, Ellie, Nadine and Magda will do next. Advantages: It was exciting Disadvantages: It had a lot of characters so it was fairly confusing.
...through out. I think girls who are teenagers should read this book because it is all about love and if you were seven it would be hard to understand. I also wouldn't recomend this to any body above the age of 25 because its about to girls in there teens. ...

Advantages: It's a totally cool book Disadvantages:
Girls in Love is the first in a series of three books about Ellie, who is in Year 9, and her friends Magda and Nadine.
In this story Ellie decides that she wants a boyfriend like her friend, but the only boy who has shown any interest in Ellie is a drippy Year 8 boy she met in Wales called Dan, who didn't exactly set her heart on fire...
I really loved this book, it was thoughtful and very moving, and it was also witty and amusing. This book made ...

The book Girlsin Tears part of the series of teen books is a magnificent superb book which makes you look at life from a different prospective. Ellie's beautiful friendship falls to pieces when Ellie finds Magda kissing her boyriend Russel at a party and Nadine knew about it and never said a thing. Magda suffers the loss of her precious pet hamster and everything is falling apart for Nadine because of her spoilt little sister Natasha. Can the girls wonderful friendship get through these difficult stages read this wondeful book to find out. Advantages: Helps children who are experiencing the same thing Disadvantages: Very short
As a child it was rare to find me without my nose stuck in a book. Although I enjoyed many children's authors, my favourite was always JacquelineWilson, this carried on into my young teens when I read books such as "GirlsinLove" and the rest of Wilson's 'young teens' range. However, as I have grown older I find that it very rare that I am found with a book. It wasn't until recently, in doing a degree in Primary Teaching, that I was asked to read a book for young children, ages 5-14. I took this opportunity to purchase a JacquelineWilson book, and I am so happy that I did. I had forgotten how encouraging Wilson's words had been for me growing up, and how even at the age of 19 I appreciate them.
Lizzie Zipmouth would be particularly beneficial for children who come from broken homes, as I did. It teaches young children that ...
Advantages: Great story to help children understand grief and depression Disadvantages: None really, although it might upset sensitive children
description of Vicky. While children who die tragically young are always mentioned in tributes in glowing terms, Vicky is not deified in the same way. Although her death sees a pavement full of flowers, letters and cuddly toys a la Princess Diana, she is soon pictured as being a girl who was definitely not perfect. As the story progresses, Vicky’s bad points overtake her good ones, as she becomes even more manipulative.
JacquelineWilson has a lovely flowing style, which is easy to get into. The story grabs you and you soon become involved with the characters and interested in their lives. But I could list many children’s’ authors who do this. The thing I found unique about Wilson’s style in this book is that she describes what Jade is going through in a way that enables the reader to both empathise and criticise. In one ...
