*Introduction* I love perfumes. But more than that I love Givenchy perfumes. Absolutely adore them. Givenchy Very Irresistible and Givenchy Ange ou Demon are easily two of the best perfumes that I have used. I was fifteen years old when I got my first bottle of ‘adult’ fragrance and I’m a strong believer that there’s a very good reason for it not coming into my possession any sooner. At fifteen the words ‘less is more’ are something of a foreign language and this has never been more true than when it comes to perfume. I am not someone who usually buys perfume right away without going round asking for samples to see if I like the fragrance. Usually inside magazines you can find the scented strips while you either peel off or open up and then you can test the perfume. I was inside a big Department store, I think it was the House of Fraser when I stopped and came accross the perfume counters. I thought to myself that I hadn't bought perfume in a while so decided to go round the counters testing which one I preferred. Givenchy Amirage This perfume was given to my mum by her sister. My mum is in her 40s and although I do not think she is old at all, she thinks she is. Givenchy perfumes is not something that I have immediately thought of as I go for something light and airy and fresh as opposed to musky fragrances like this one. The Givenchy range seems to be aimed mainly at the more mature woman because I only know of 2 fragrances that are not very musky and a little lighter.
