A little bit of histoy about Givenchy:
Hubert DeGivenchy was born in France in 1927.
He designed for many of the famous French fashion houses.
In 1952 he opened his own Fashion house,his designs for Audrey Hep burn in `Breakfast at Tiffanys` popularised the sleeveless high bosom dress.
Givenchy showed his very last couture collection in 1995.

Amarige is very beautifully and elegantly presented in a clear glass bottle with a `sculpted` glass stopper.
The outer box being a lavish red and gold.

I am a fan of givenchy and like to try alot of their products, and this particular fragrance, I liked more when I first bought it.
The fragrance is quite strong, could be overbearing for some.
It is a floral scent, with top notes of: mandarin, galbanum, rosewood and coconut.
Middle notes: tuberose, jasmine, narcissus and carnation.
Base notes; Patchouli, sandal castoreum and ciyst.
A small amount is neede for application, and it lasts up to a couple of hours, no more.
It is a floral scent with rose being the predominant smell, it is quite a busy fragrance and floral is the best way to describe it.
I like the design of the bottle, it is clear, with black writing, the lid is alike a pyramid/ diamond shape, and would be fine for those with poorer grip.

I do love my perfumes and I think my friends and family are pleased that I am so easy to buy for at birthdays and Christmas. I often like most perfumes and find that each fragrance has a particular time of the year or time of the day where it is suited to. I do of course have my favourites and this Miss Sixty perfume is one of them.
I have used up I would say at least 2 or 3 bottles of this stuff since it came out about 3 years ago. This means I must use quite a lot because I have such a wide variety in the bathroom and these Miss Sixty bottles hold a fair bit of the perfume.
