Not as bad as it is claimed to be. The university of Glamorgan has received much bad press here in Wales. Known to be the university that will take those who have been declined elsewhere. Truth be told, it's actually not that bad. In my final year now doing Business Information Technology and apart from a few lecturers having attitude problems including "If you dont do this part of the work correctly, I WILL FAIL YOU!" and "I don't give a sh*t what degree you get" (by the same lecturer) I have to say it has been fine. The computing facilities are great, and if you need a room with a pc to work, you are pretty much guaranteed it. Lecturers are always willing to help and you get the feeling that they want you to do well (apart from the one above!). Parking is always a problem, it all depends on what time you're in for, but generally it is a good idea to take the bus or other modes of transport!
I moved to here from Swansea University, and I have to say I would prefer Glamorgan. Maybe it's the course, I'm not sure but I feel it has been a pleasant experience overall. It's known for it's good computing and business school, but not much else. Whatever you wish to study, it's up to you, but it may not be as bad as you think.
