It has been a bad start today. The landlord forgot to top up my gas meter and I forgot to check whether the dumbo had topped it up in my absence. So the heating must have gone off sometime during the night. The morning felt very cold and I knew something was amiss. I checked the gas meter and £ 0.00 was staring at me. Worse was to follow as I suddenly started sneezing - not 1 or 2 but dozens in space of minutes. The nose started running profusely and it did not take long to realise that I have had an allergic bout. I usually rely on the homeo medicines and even took a few Aconite tabs. But the ... more
