...Bradford and Bingley is dominated by its forthcoming float, which should be in December. Long standing members will get shares to the value of around £700, but its too late for new members to join. This situation rather raises the question as to why anyone should join Bradford and Bingley. There are some good answers. The simplest one is that it is broadly similar to other banks and building societies, and if it happens to be convenient as a High Street account its as good as any other. In addition it is likely than Bradford and Bingley will have to introduce some good terms after the flost in order to keep existing customers and attract new ones. Advantages: reputable well known name.friendly staff with offices in prime locations.

...Bradford and Bingley estate agents are placed in prime locations and offer an excellent service from valuation through to completion.The offices are spacious well maintained and as you may expect from such an established name the service is next to none. The properties for sale are displayed both in the estate agents offices and the branches of Bradford and Bingley which is useful.....as you can peruse the available houses whilst waiting to pay your mortgage...... The web site is excellent...very easy to use and the illustrations and descriptions of properties are very detailed. It is updated regularly and has several useful links for potential homebuyers. The experience we had when using this estate agent could not be faulted and would recommend it highly... Read review

...I really cant speak highly enough of Bradford and Bingley. I have been a customer there for years, having gone though a range of products inculding savings accounts and fixed term bonds. In all my experience with Banks and Building Societies I have never encountered a business as efficient and professional yet still able to retain the friendly and comfortable atmosphere of a smaller, more personal business. I recently invested in a B&B fixed term bond. When i made enquiries about purchasing this product i was shown immediatley to a private office and no sooner had i sat down i was shown all the products that were available and offered expert advice on which product would best suit my needs. In addition to the superb customer service and expertise of the staff, you are rarely kept waiting, in fact i have never waited more than five... Read review
