Hi friends with my first review on Gmail. This review is not on the product. This review is on Gmail which provides you a great account for sending electronic mails as well as saving contacts and other information's. Like Yahoo, Hotmail and other email services Google provides us the facility of email account. But it is too different from to the Hotmail and Yahoo. When you visit the Hotmail and Yahoo for making an account you can click on the Sign up button to create a new account. But at Gmail you never saw any button of Signup to create an account. You can create an account with the help of invitations.
I think to edit this review because G mail growing day by day. And there is a need to enter some more new information about G mail.
Four months ago my friend sends me an invitation on my Yahoo email id to create an account on Gmail. And I make an account on Gmail. And when I am successful to create account then I amazed to see the options of Gmail and its service. After one month in using the Gmail I can gets my own 50 invitations. When I get 50 invitations then I think that when I send one invitation to my friend then I lose one invitation. But after two days I am glad to see that my invitations are still 50. I send an email to friend to discuss this matter. He told me that he receive my invitation. And when he creates his account on Gmail then my invitation is back. Then I invite many of my friends on Gmail.
I never want to say against the Yahoo and Hotmail. No, there services are too much excellent. But there storage capacity is less than Gmail. Yahoo provides 1 GB storage to all members. And Hotmail provides up to 250. I think it
is not enough. But the Gmail provides above 2 GB storage to all of its members. And its storage capacity is increased day by day. It has many cool features and options which I try to explain you below.
"History"
This is a question who is running the Google? And everybody wants to know about founder of Google. And many of peoples don't know about this. Recently I read a book which is written on the histories of legends. And on that book I also read about Google founders. Infect my review is about Gmail, but I just want to tell readers the history. The Google is made by two boys. Larry Page(L) and Sergey Brin(R), founders of Google. Google was originally named 'Googol'. After founders (Stanford graduates) Sergey Brin and Larry Page presented their project to an angel investor... they received a cheque made out to 'Google' !... So they kept name as GOOGLE. I also attach the picture of founders of Google.
"Interface of Gmail"
The interface of Gmail is very simple & friendly and load quickly in your internet browser. You can visit the Gmail on going to this like http://www.gmail.com . On the left side you can saw the increasing digits. These are not only the digit it is the storage capacity of Gmail account which increase day by day. On the right side you can saw the Sign in menu. Where you can wrote the user name and passward to enter in your account. And you can also get help on all topics through clicking on the "Gmail Help" button which you find on the main page (Home page) of Gmail.
"Getting Started with Gmail"
Like Yahoo and Hotmail you can also receive and send the email through Gmail. You can send email anywhere, its mean that at any email id. You can attach files of different sizes of files on Yahoo to sending attachments to other, but Gmail gives the limited attachment size which is 10 Mb which is very less. But it can attach the files and send them very quickly. Gmail is the very secure and you can send the attachments in very less time than Yahoo and Hotmail. But the bad thing is this that Gmail provides you 10 Mb limit for attachment. And when ever you attach the file or images upto 10 Mb then Gmail displays a warning that your message exceeds the 10 Mb limit. Gmail provides you very security; you can never send or receive an executable file which holds virus.
The best thing in the Gmail is this that you never seen any pop-up or untargeted banner ads in Gmail. In Gmail you can see the ads, but they are just text ads and links, they never cover your half page of inbox.
"Languages"
You can access Gmail in your own Language. And it provides you more than 12 languages. The interface of Gmail is now available in Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese & English (UK). You can select your language with your own choice.
"Free POP Access"
Gmail solve another problem of us. It can provide you the facility to download your mails from Gmail account. You can use software's like Outlook, Blackberry, etc. to download your messages. And you can read them offline. Also you can forward your mails to other email accounts.
"Contacts"
Gmail provide you to save a large amount of contacts with more details. And the good thing is this that you can also import you contacts from Yahoo, Outlook, and others to Gmail. And this process takes just some minutes. After importing the contact you can use the auto-complete great feature to fill in your addresses as you're typing.
"Gmail Notifier"
You never need to check your Gmail account in every minute. You just download the Gmail Notifier software. After download the Notifier, an icon will appear in your system tray. The Gmail Notifier able you to Automatically check for new messages every two minutes, you can see the subjects of mails, senders and snippets without opening a web browser, you can set the sound to indicate when you receive new message in your
As you know that the Google is the world biggest search engine. And it can give you the search option in Gmail. You can search your contacts and messages from your inbox using search Mail option. And you can also search the web as well as using Web search option. And it never makes any disturbance, when you want to search a web then a new window will be opened.
"Archive and Spam"Archive is the great option of Gmail. Because Gmail provides you a large storage space so you don't need to delete any message. When you Archive the message then your message never deletes from your Email account and you can access your message through search mail option or clicking on all mail button. If you want to delete message then first you move the message in to TRASH. Then click on 'Show option' button this option show the message which you want to delete. Select the message and click on 'Trash this message' button after doing this step an option menu will be appear where you click on the 'Delete forever' button to delete your message.
Spam is also very cool option which protect you inbox from spam mails. You can report the spam mails to the spam to block them. And you can set the option to automatically empty the spam box. By default after one month all spam mails are automatically deleted.
"Signature and Thumbnails for Images"
You can use the Signature that's automatically added to the end of all your outgoing messages. And you can also change it or edit it. When you receive some attachments of images, then you never need to download them first to view them. Gmail provides you the Thumbnails option, you can watch a glimpse of your image before download it or view it bigger.
"Finish the monopoly"
When the Gmail was not much known then mostly people used the Yahoo and MSN. And those companies create the monopoly. They sell business emails and domains at high charges. And charge for giving POP 3 access. But when Google introduce its mail service with the name of Gmail then it become popular because they offer some tremendous features with free of cost. And in this way Gmail finally ends the monopoly competition. And then Yahoo and MSN also offer those features free and give more facilities to their users.
"My Opinion"
I use this Email account from four months. And it proves very helpful for me. I save many of my messages, contents and address in it. And I think it is the best Email account service which is very reliable and secure. And the good thing is this that the Google Company has more new ideas to upgrade Gmail with more new and great features. And may be in future you can Sign up free to make Gmail account.
"My Experience with Gmail"
I use my Gmail account from last four months regularly. And I can't find any fault or disadvantage in it. But Gmail is little bit incomplete in one point of view that, it has no messenger like Yahoo or MSN or others. But you can connect with all people of worlds via Gmail Groups. You can just join your favorite group or you can create your own group.
Some times I think that what stands for "G". After using the Gmail my mind told me that the G stands for "Greatest", "Glorious" and "Growth" mail. In Gmail, I like more the invitation system. You can invite your friends on Gmail. And I also invite many of my friends on Gmail. And which friends I invite on Gmail, they like it and its service. And I feel my self happy when I invite friends on Gmail and serve them. If any CIAO members don't have Gmail account and want to create an account then send me your email address at my Guest book, I can send invitations to them.

Review of Google Mail (Gmail.com)
Advantages: 2086 MB storage space, searching for emails is based on the Google search engine, still fairly new so good email addresses are up for grabs, email grouping to form a conversation Disadvantages: Attachments are limited in size to 10 MB, Cannot import contacts from AOL at the present time.
Advantages: Easy to search and navigate around, some nice unique features, lots of storage, its free Disadvantages: Takes a while to get used to some of the more unique features
