i have been using this product for about 10 days after pre ordering it from amazon --- its fantastic you get a widescreen sat nav that turns a little games machine into a full spec sat nav.
in the box comes the umd disc, the gps reciever a little box to store it in a window cradle a power supply a box and instructions.
it comes with uk and ireland mapping
out of the box it took 2 minutes to set itself up very easy it needed to be in outside air to locate the satelites another 2 mins you then need to save the maps to a memory stick then off you go
its very reliable it has not let me down yet and i do a bit of driving the only failing so far is it doesnt recognise speed cameras but that will no doubt be updated the only other failing is its a bit quiet but thats being ...
Advantages: Clear screen, lots of features, easy to use and a large range of games and movies. Disadvantages: Can't be used with strong light and quite easy to damage/scratch
The SonyPSP is a gaming device made for on the go gamers. There is a very wide range of games you can play on the PSP, and these mainly consist of previous PlayStation 2 games such as Grand Theft Auto Vice City and other classic games. The PSP is set out like a PlayStation controller but with a 4.3 inch screen in the middle. The console itself is a great size and does not weight very much. The screen also is very good - it delivers a clear picture and depending on the game, not bad graphics. The games are stored on a UMD disk which stands for Universal Media Disks which consist of 1.8GB. As well as buying games on the UMD disks, you can also buy popular films such as Spiderman and watch them on the go.

This is an ideal portable console/MP3 Player and MP4 Player for all. Since having the PSP I no longer find myself bored whilst on the train to work. I generally use it for gaming and watching movies. The gameplay/graphics are awesome for such a small device. The added bonus of the PSP is that you can switch it off and when you switch it back on again it allows you to play where you left off even if this is half way through a football match.
As for movie capability, this is straight forward. As long as you have a large enough memory card, you can load MP4 files and watch movies on the go with the PSP.
I don't really use the PSP as an MP3 player as it's a little too bulky for the pocket. I don't think this is the main benefit of the PSP but the option's there.
