Advantages: great taste, less fat, no artificial colours and preservatives Disadvantages: as the snacks in general, it is not too healthy
When I was young there were only salty snacks available. Now there is a huge range of them. Supermarkets place them all over the shopping area, so it is quite difficult to avoid my elder son discovering them. I try to feed my sons as healthy as possible but for some reason unhealthy food tastes better.
Last time we were out for shopping in Sainsbury's we bought a multipack bag of Walkers Really Cheesy Wotsits.

I wanted to see the weight of the pack but it is not written on it. (I can calculate from the calorie or other ingredients list if I really want to know.)

Last time we were out for shopping in Sainsbury's we bought a multipack bag of Walkers Really Cheesy Wotsits.
First impression
It is a large blue bag containing 12 little packs. It is written with yellow to orange letters the 'Wotsits' on it. It is quite big, so it can be seen easily. The colours are bright so they will catch your attention immediately.
I wanted to see the weight of the pack but it is not written on it. (I can calculate from the calorie or other ingredients list if I really want to know.)
As we opened it at home we found nice little packs and orange corn puffs in it. The packs are well loaded, one pack was more than enough for my 2 and half years old son.
Price
I bought it today for 2.18 pounds the large multipack bag. I think it was worth. The 12 packs will last for a week at least. I won't give it to my son unless he asks for it.

Experience
This snack is baked not fried. It is quite salty, so I have to drink something after eating them. I thought I will end up with orange fingers, but not. They are really tasty and although the cheesy flavour is not so natural and healthy the whole snack is one of the healthiest ones. At least it doesn't contain artificial colours and preservatives. I definitely will buy it in the future for my sons, and I can recommend trying them.
More information
There are more information on the manufacturer's web site. For reading them visit www.walkers.co.uk
I almost forget about it, there is a joke on each pack and on the bag as well. I don't know how repetitive they are but according to my sons we will find out and I will share it with you.
Advantages: Nice to eat. Disadvantages: 1 pack is not enough
...lots of goodies online including Golden Wonder Wotsits at a huge price of £1.99 for 12 packs. Dont think I will be doing this. Next I tried Golden Wonder in the search and what do you think I found. e-Library.com who claim that "Walkers are to buy Wotsits" Now I know nothing of this so will not comment. I did not find the Golden Wonder site but if anyone has and would like to tell me, I will update.

Advantages: taste nice, easy to eat, suitable for children, no artificial colours or preservatives Disadvantages: not as cheesy as they used to be, packets arent always properly sealed.
Cheesy Wotsits
Cheesy Wotsits were my favourite crisps when I was younger and recently I have started buying them again on the assumption that they are slightly healthier than other crisps!
Wotsits are made by Walkers and are crisps which take the form of baked corn puffs. They are not fried and they contain no artificial colours or preservatives. Wotsits haven't changed much in appearance over the years although perhaps they used to be a little ... ...orange using paprika rather than artificial colours so that is fine by me. Wotsits tend to be aimed at children as they are brightly packaged and their texture and shape means that they are idea for little hands and little mouths! They are suitable for children who are just starting to eat solids as they do not present a choking hazard. They are also a great way of keeping children quiet for a few minutes as very young children can suck on them until ...

Advantages: You won't get crushed by some animated character Disadvantages: You will get orange fingers
...(as Wotsits aren’t owned by Golden Wonder any more) and a message at the bottom, ‘Whoopee! A guaranteed £1,000,000 is going to Comic Relief’ which is obviously good news. On the back there is more about this, telling us if we eat Baked Bean flavour snacks even more will be going, in fact a penny for every packet. While it could be argued that this is ‘small change’ to Walkers I don’t care, I’m quite mercenary about it, any money is welcome, what ... ...off soap box. Also on the back is an address for complaints and nutritional information, see below.

So are they good for you, I doubt it, at 104 calories a bag which weighs 19gms that’s more than a slice of bread and 545 calories per 100grs, pretty high(you can tell I’m on a diet can’t you). 8% protein, 54% carbohydrate, 7.5% which sugars (thank you for including that very important fact for diabetics) and 33gms Fat, 2% saturated. ...

Advantages: My daughter is quiet whilst eating them Disadvantages: The smell, the mess!
...used to be made by Golden Wonder, and I have to admit that I am a Walker's man, although if one of their rivals produces something I like then it would not matter whose name was emblazoned across the packet, and this theory was put to the test when I discovered that Walkers were now the name behind these snacks, and I hoped that they would have made them more edible......so have they?
The blue and orange packets are instantly recognisable, and I ... ...bring myself to call them crisps) goes back to my school days, as these always lurking in my packed lunch box beside my sandwiches. There are a choice of flavoured Wotsits nowadays, but the ones I have had the most experience of are the sickly cheesy flavoured ones. They are shaped a little like monkey nuts, and are about the length of the average thumb, and the orange colour is so vibrant you are under no illusion that there are copious amounts ...

Advantages: Tastes good, cheap Disadvantages: Leaves your fingers orange
What’s small, a funny colour and smells of cheese?
A cheesy corn puff sounds really unappealing, the smell isn’t too great, and after eating a pack you’re left with orange fingers. So why are Wotsits so popular? There are so many different flavours of crisps available these days, from the ever-steady Ready Salted, to the more unusual flavours such as Vanilla Ice Cream. Just sometimes though you want an old favourite. Something not boring. Like Ready ... ...are ideal. A light crisp, full of flavour and not likely to ruin your appetite.
There has been an advert on TV recently with schoolkids rapping along about how great Wotsits are, with a tag line “What sits on your Wotsits?”. As adverts go, it’s right up there with the worst of them, but as the old saying goes, any press is good press, and it was with this annoying tune running through my head that I came to pick out a multipack of these cheesy wonders ...

******WOTSIT ALL ABOUT******
In preparation for my return to uni, I set about buying all the essential provisions to bring back with me. These included: 1.5litre bottle of Lambrini, a bottle of The Italian Job red wine, a number of leftover Easter Eggs, and a 10 pack of reduced Wotsits Waffles. Not being any kind of expert on wine, and Easter has sadly passed (along with the eggs) the only thing remaining to review is the pack of Wotsits Waffles. They go out of date on the 3rd of May (3 days time! at the time of writing) so sadly I?m going to have to eat a pack for the sake of the review....

The bag holding all of the little packets is bright purple with an orange splodge on the front which has the following on it: A huuge Walkers logo, and in big white, bubbly letters ?Wotsits Wafflers? (apparently I ...
Advantages: Decent flavour, makes a change Disadvantages: Messy and a touch unsatisfying
Hello everyone I?m back on Ciao after my time in Tunisia (look out for an op on that little subject in the not too distant future!). On my return I went out to restock my food supplies before my return to university and was shocked to find that you can get a 6 pack of Wotsit crisps, a childhood favourite of mine for 39p! That?s less than a single bag of most crisps around where I live and is probably less than I paid for them way back in the early 90?s. Now that can?t be right I thought to myself could it be that the ?Wot Sits On Ya?? advertising campaign failed to appear cool or trendy to the kids it tried to win over? Are Wotsits just not the snack of choice for today?s yoof? Will I continue to use rhetorical questions pointlessly?

Advantages: Scrummy in my tummy?!? Disadvantages: Hunger soon over rides, and you need more food..
lightly, particularly when I'm this hungry and want to satisfy my every tastebud. 20 mins later and I've bought myself a packet of Wotsits Flamin' Hot crisps, and a diet coke. Because I don't want to get fat. The diet coke will make the fatty crisps seem less offensive, at any rate.
Anticipation as I open the packet. They smell good. They smell hot. They smell like a damn good crisp. Mouth watering, I place the fluffy wotsit on my tongue, awaiting the explosion of flavour and.......Nothing. Hang on. It claims on the packet that they are 'Flamin' Hot' This isn't true and I'm very disappointed. Monster munch are spicer than this. They taste like regular wotsits only less 'cheesy'.
Ugh. So I'm not happy. Even the pigeon doesn't seem particularly interested - And they'll eat anything....
