Glucosamine is a naturally occuring enzyme in your body which helps to keep your joints mobile and healthy, however as you get older, you naturally run out of glucosamine stores.

Glucosamine Sulphate is used to replenish these stores and aids all aspects of joint function. I've been taking glucosamine for about 6 months now and it has really helped. My joints used to creak and groan continuosly, possibly the result of playing a lot of sport. However since taking glucosamine, I can definitely feel a marked improvement.

In particular, I used to take creatine to help me with my training and as some of you may or may not know, creatine drys up your stores of synovial fluid in your joints, therefore taking something like glucosamine in conjunction with creatine would be an intelligent move.

on the downside, the tablets are huge so you may find like me you need to crush them down a bit to make them easier to swallow.

An extremely useful product if you suffer from joint problems.

Hiya, I have read your review and was wondering if you could help me. I suffer from Chondromalacia Patella, particularly in my right knee. To summarise the disorder, symptoms include cracking and grinding from the knee and pain on prolonged use. I have taken Tesco own brand Glucosamine (it was with omega 3, I think) and I had two courses of this to no avail. The first one was 500mg twice daily, the seconds 1000mg once daily. The seconds one made me quite ill with abdominal pains, so I stopped taking it. I hadn't noticed any improvement in my knees from either pills, I was wondering if you would recommend your glucosamine sulphate for conditions such as wear and tear, as well as daily supplements? Thanks.
