The Pomegranate is one example of many weird and wonderful fruits that are now available to buy in British supermarkets. I have recently started to buy these occasionally since reading a newspaper article about their health benefits, although I do find that they are not widely available.
The Pomegranate that we generally think of that we find for sale is the fruit of the Pomegranate Plant. This is a deciduous Shrub or small Tree that has the Botanical name Punica Granatum. This Plant is native to Central Asia from Iran to Northern India. It has however been introduced into Southern Europe and California where it is widely cultivated.

I will start with a definition:
Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket in the bone.
Ok, fair enough, the thing is that you will feel after the gap in the place were it use to be a tooth.

Marmite is a rather unique food product, made from yeast extract. It is dark brown in colour and has a very gooey, sticky texture, It is usually spread on buttered toast or can be used quite flexibly in sandwiches! (i like it with grated cheddar and tomato), it also can be used to add richness of flavour to sauces and is a very good vegetarian substitute for beef extract.

In my opinion, the haters are doing it wrong! It's all about how you spread it, especially when you eat it on buttered toast. The key is not to cover the entire piece of toast in a layer of Marmite, but to sporadically dab the spread over the toast, so that you end up with the toast kind of half butter exposed, half marmite.
