Nike One Black- Great balls
Review of Nike Golf Nike One Black Golf Balls by Cheesychip1

Advantages: Great distance and control in air.
Disadvantages: Non-if any.

...looked and saw that the Nike One Black was the same price as the titilist so i bought a pack of three and tookm them out with me to give them a round. I play off 18 and i loose a fair few balls on the course. However i was highly suprised when after 18 I still had all three Nike balls. I found they were very good distance hitters and they made a great sound off the face of my driver. I like to spinn my ball onto the green nearest to flag flag as ...
...the price they are truely worth the price because i bought three and here i am 2 weeks later and i still have all three. Easy to control balls with a nice satisfing NIKE tick on them. I use these now more than the PV 1's ... Read review

Prov1x is the king of golf balls!
Review of Titleist Pro V1x by comedybegs

Advantages: Distance and spin are exceptional!
Disadvantages: a little bit pricey to lose!

...I used to use the Titleist Pro V1 before switching to this as it was awesome around the greens but i moved to the ProV1X because it is slightly harder, thus reducing the amount of spin on the ball and giving me around 10 yards more distance and by keeping my ball around 5 yards straighter. I hit the ball pretty hard and I think this is one of the reasons why the ProV1X suits my game. I also have a pretty tidy short game and I find that harder balls ...
...the amount of check spin I get with these. Even though it is aimed at the more advanced level the only reason I suggest it for the low hanicapper is because of its price which at £30+ a dozen becomes expensive to lose and only serious golfers or rich golfers can afford to lose that much every month! I mainly only use them for competitions so that I dont lose any when I am knocking the ball around in my friendly fourball! Although I recommend that ... Read review

Noodle Ice - Legendary
Review of Maxfli Noodle Golf Balls by SimoD

Advantages: A good ball that looks amazing
Disadvantages: Few (except that people may try and steal it off you)

The legend that is the Noodle ICE The noodle ice is possibly the most legendary ball ever to enter the golf ball cycle as it is known. This illustrious ball, which i have only encountered once in three years works wonders for any player and looks cool! Between me and two other players, we managed to put this ball under a stringent series of tests and discovered that this ball is arguably the best known to man. Unfortunately we managed to loose ...
...had been returned to the golf ball cycle for another player to enjoy. We even associated a children's song - 'Do the noodle' with this ball, it really is that legendary. Genuinely though, this is a good ball and you can get a pack for a decent price. Currently it's the only ball I'v come across which has this aesthetically pleasing 'ice' layer. If you've never seen one before, please google it and have a peek. Definitely a cut above the rest. ... Read review

Cheeter Line Ball
Review of Titleist NXT Tour Golf Balls by sacoyote

Advantages: More ball for less
Disadvantages: Durabillity

Titleist makes the best golf balls, and has proven them selfs on the pro tour for many years. This is a Titleist budget ball with almost the same performance and feel as the more expensive brother the Pro V1. The Cheeter line is very helpfull, for somone that struggles to line up his putts and can even be used to line up the driver giving you better acurisy ultimitly saving you shots on a round. Launches good from the club face and has good controll ... Read review

I've Got Soft Balls!
Review of Srixon Soft Feel Golf Balls by the_mad_cabbie

Advantages: Extra distance with the driver. Excellent control and spin. Well priced high performance golf ball for the average golfer.
Disadvantages: Meaningless advertising.

~ ~ Srixon is probably not the first name that springs to a person's mind when they think of golf equipment manufacturers. Names like Slazenger, John Letters and Dunlop, and more recently Taylor Made, Callaway, and Nike are the manufacturers of clubs, balls and equipment that most modern-day golfers would readily associate with being market leaders in the golf world. ~ ~ So who are Srixon, and why are they now quickly establishing themselves as ...
...subject of this review; the Srixon Soft Feel. Now I can guess what you're asking yourself. If I'm a serious golfer (which I am) and the Titleist Pro V is the best ball currently available, then why change? Well, the Pro V suits a lot of golfer's games like a proverbial glove. The only problem with it is that like all golf balls used by professional golfers, it's designed to perform best when it's being used by a golfer with a very fast swing speed. ... Read review
