Everyone should have heard about EnidBlyton. She’s been around for ages! (even before my Mum was born!) Enid has written loads of stories, but I really like the AmeliaJane series best.

My daughter who is 6 had to change schools and found the new reading books boring and very old fashioned. We saw the Amelia Jayne books and bought her one I didn't think she would actually finish it, she did over a weekend. She has since read a second one and is on to her third.
The books are about a naughty doll who plays tricks on the other toys and they get their own back. To a young child these books are very interesting and make great conversation if you like to chat about what they have read.

When you think of EnidBlyton's works what springs to mind? Maybe the adventures experienced by the Famous Five? How about the escapades of the Secret Seven? Or the loveable Noddy and friends? These are all well known stories that out parents read to us and in some cases we are reading to our children. But what about the adventures of Jo, Bessie and Fanny?
