...OK... so I needed a new TV. I had very little money to spend! Icouldn't afford a fancy LCD or plasma screen. I needed something cheap that would do the job well!
I found the Goodmans TV in Currys for £150 and it was a lot cheaper than other brands and it had many of the same features as the budget TVs of the higher end brand names.
The picture quality is excellent, as is the sound quality. It was so easy to install and set up. Overall an excellent Tv and I can't actually think of any negatives that it has apart fromevery time you switch it on you have to change the screen size. When you turn it off it goes back to the screen ratio of 4:3 and doesn't remember your preferred size....

Advantages: Great picture, space saving, good price Disadvantages: Have to wait a minute or two for the signal when switching on
...When hubby had a contract up in East Kilbride, Glasgow last year he decided to rent a flat for six months to try and minimize costs a bit.
There were one or two things that he needed to buy and we tried to keep these to things that we would be able to use here at home once the contract was finished.
One of those things was a small flat screen television which we thought would eventually go in the bedroom.
He chose the Goodmans Freeview Digital TFT LCD TV GTVL 19W17HDF with a nineteen inch screen currently costing £221.64 in Asda.
In the neat, easy to carry box you get the TV, a stand, a remote control, a video cable, an audio cable, a power cord and a user's manual.
The user's manual is very clearly written with plenty of diagrams so it is extremely easy to understand and follow. In fact even I could understand it...

Advantages: Has a large screen Disadvantages: Cant set it up!
..., there are alot of functions on this t.v, but, i cant even get a picture! So i havent had the chance to check out the many functions on the t.v yet!
The sales person didnt tell me that i would have to have an outdoor airial and a signal booster! Well this is just more expense and, when you pay over £500 for a product, you expect it to work without having to go through more expense!
So. Untill i can afford to have a specialist come out to set it up properly. I have no t.v to watch!
Thanks Goodmans, Not!!...

After my last Freeview box gave up, I went to a local Tesco to pick up a cheap one. After looking at the VERY cheap ones (around £20) I decided that this Goodmans box was much better for only £45. It has two scart connectors on the back (some cheap ones... more
We are very pleased with this TV / DVD combo.
This was bought for a bedroom and runs off an indoor aerial, even so the picture and sound quality are excellent.
The set was easy to set up and took just a matter of minures to auto tune the TV... more
Ok let me start by saying I would not normally entertain a Goodmans product in my home; its just plain wrong. I’m still struck by the stigma of people I knew at school getting a beating when they came in with a Goodmans personal stereo.
When our... more
