I purchased this based on price. Big mistake! While it does have alot of features including Freeview, the sound quality is awful if you connect all the speakers. Basically if you connect the subwoofer it creates a buzzing sound that is very intrusive ant any volume, even if you press mute on the remote the subwoofer buzzes away. The remedy for this I found was to disconnect the subwoofer and change the sound settings to joint stereo, but then you are using it as 4.0 and not 5.1. Apart from that it has a place in the home as an economy 5.1 home entertainment system. It has Freeview, CD/DVD with Jpeg and MP3 support, plays DIVX Files, FM/MW radio, optical output and AUX in. But it appears that price matters when you but audio equipment, but on a plus note it plays DIVX and I have only just discovered this so I have rerated the product based on this feature as I see it as a majour plus.
