Fantastic looking, and best looking for the price, (I did have them all out in several stores to make sure) Slim silver with a variable choice of screen sizes ie. 4;3 16;9 and Normal modes.The unit comes with all the leads you need including headphones, scart ,and audio leads. There are on the unit colour and brightness controlsand extra sockets on the side to connect a playstation etc.infra red remote control av in and out sockets and also a coaxial connection. The player is also able to play mp3 vcd svcd and jpeg photo graphs via a cdr disc.Through the audio out socket the player plays 5.1 surround sound Dolby Digital! The screen is 7 inches and is perfectly watchable as opposed to the 5 incher which really is too small. The unit feels solid and secure and comes with a lithium ion battery which lasts me nearly 3 hours. You can recharge it with the charger that comes with it in 5 hours and also comes with a car adapter so you can watch or recharge in the car. Great for camping! Highly recommended and without doubt in my opinion the best for the money by a long chalk. Others you may want to look at are the pioneer and the LG 7" which was very tempting. This player comes as region 2 only but a very simple button pressing sequence opens it up into a region free player. Terrific.
Now the important bit, DONT BE PUT OFF IT BEING A GOODMANS! I was sceptical as Goodmans stuff is um...er usually crap, but this is high class kit, spoil yourself. One more thing..........The mp3 player software is top notch great sounding mp'3 through any amplifier you choose, I use a pioneer pc 5.1 system (£70) and it sounds awesome.
Ok Update time - It is very trippy on vcd playback sometimes playing the sound but no video I dontknow if its just mine or the batch of cdr,s I have but if anyone else has the same probs take it as a warning.
